Awareness of Mental Health Problems (Level 2)

This course will increase your understanding of symptoms and management of stress, anxiety and phobias. You will further your personal and professional development and gain a clear understanding of mental health legislation.

Business Improvement Techniques (Level 2)

This course will teach you the knowledge and understanding of business improvement techniques, which can be applied across many different sectors such as visual management systems, problem solving, flow process analysis and continuous improvement (Kaizen).

Lean Organisation Management Techniques (Level 2)

Principles of Business Administration (Level 2)

This course will teach you the principles of providing administrative services, business document production and information management. You will also learn about communication in a business environment, employer organisations and how to develop working relationships with colleagues.

Principles of Dementia Care (Level 2)

This course will teach you about dementia awareness. You will learn about the various forms of dementia and the importance of a person-centred approach when caring for individuals with dementia. You will gain a better understanding of the administration of medication to individuals and the factors that can influence communication and interaction with individuals who have dementia.

Principles of End of Life Care (Level 2)

This course will teach you the knowledge and understanding of how to work in end of life care, and the role of a care worker in time of death. You will learn about the person-centred approach to care planning within end of life care, how to provide support to manage pain and discomfort. You will also understand the processes of loss and grief and their impact on the individual receiving care, significant others and care worker.

Principles of the Prevention and Control of Infection (Level 2)

This course will teach you the principles of the causes and spread of infection, the importance of personal hygiene, decontamination, cleaning and waste management, and prevention and control of infection in a health care setting.

Principles of Team Leading (Level 2)

Being able to manage a team effectively is critical in the current job market, where employee productivity and team outcomes are closely monitored. This course will help you understand the principles of team leading, business and how to communicate work-related information.

Understanding Autism (Level 2)

This course will teach you about using a person-centred approach to support individuals with autism. You will learn how to communicate and encourage social interaction in individuals with autism. Also Sensory Processing, Perception, Cognition and supporting positive behaviour in individuals with autism to live healthy and fulfilled lives.

Understanding Behaviour that Challenges (Level 2)

This course will improve your understanding of the reasons why individuals display behaviour that challenges and its impact. You will learn how to support positive behaviour, effective communication and understand the role of reflection and support for those involved in incidents of behaviour that challenges.

Understanding Care & Management of Diabetes (Level 2)

This course will improve your understanding of the various forms and causes of diabetes and create awareness about better preventative care by being able to identify early signs of diabetes. You will also learn about the treatment and management of diabetes.
