SDPB in the Community: Prehistoric Road Trip Drive-In Screening Over 262 people (about 145 cars) converged at Roy’s Black Hills Twin Drive-in in Hermosa June 9 for SDPB’s live, socially distanced preview of Prehistoric Road Trip, PBS’s new 3-part natural history documentary. Documentary host and coproducer Emily Graslie, who grew up in Rapid City and is now Chief Curiosity Correspondent for the Field Museum in Chicago, joined live in Hermosa to share her experience shooting and producing the series in fossil country, including western South Dakota.

Attendees enjoyed seeing local host, Emily Graslie, on the big BIG screen.
