EIS Complex About EIS

The new 85,000 square foot Engineering & Interdisciplinary Sciences (EIS) Complex allowed San Diego State University (SDSU) to grow its engineering programs, develop educational and research programs in areas of STEM excellence, create interdisciplinary centers in engineering and sciences focused on pressing societal challenges, and support the development of new enterprises, both start-up businesses and social enterprises. The new complex which opened in 2018 transformed the physical campus and became the central location for student engagement and STEM activities at SDSU. The complex provided new collaboration and meeting spaces and the opportunity for all SDSU entrepreneurship centers to be under one roof.
