KID’S JULY 4TH PARADE WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY, JULY 3 Children are invited to participate in our Independence Day Parade on Saturday, July 3rd. Come by Meador Park by 9:45 a.m. on July 3rd dressed in red, white and blue or in your Scout or baseball uniforms. The parade will follow the trail around Meador Park . After the Parade there will be face painting, a moon walk, a hayride, and water balloons. Mayor Renola will be cooking hotdogs for everyone and there will be drawings for prizes. Also, everyone will receive a pool pass good for that day only. Don’t miss out! Mark your calendars for this event.


Family Movie Night When: July 23rd from 8 PM until 11PM Where: Seabrook City Pool (next to Meador Park) Who: Seabrook Residents What: A movie, popcorn and drinks will be provided at the City Pool for FREE after regular hours July 23.

The Coast Guard Auxiliary will present Boating Safely Classes at the Seabrook Volunteer Fire Dept. on July 17 and Sept. 18. Topics include Equipment for Your Boat, Trailering Your Boat, Handling Your Boat, Your "Highway" Signs, and Knots and Lines. These signs are placed in the right-of-way of industrial pipelines and are here for your safety. The markers are placed in the area to advise everyone to stay away from these areas. This means no motorcycles, go-carts, golf carts or any ATV should ride in the area of the markers. If you see individuals riding in these right-of-ways please call: Seabrook Police Department: 281-291-5610 Your Safety is our Concern!


2010 City Pool Hours Tuesday - Thursday, 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. The City Pool will not be open July 4th.


The Open Space, Beautification and Preservation Committee invite you to download and review a draft copy of the Open Space and Parks Master Plan and submit your comments and opinions via our online survey. Click here to review the plan and take the survey. If you wish to review the draft plan in person you may come to City Hall at 1700 First St., Second Floor, and request to review a copy of the plan on premises. There will also be paper copies of the survey available at City Hall that you may fill out and submit at the water department window or by mail. One survey per resident please. This draft plan outlines the proposed long-term goals for Seabrook Parks and Trails.


The Farpoint Theatre is proud to present the 10th Dramatist Academy for Youth summer performance of “Snow White,” an original adaptation of the cherished Brothers Grimm fairy tale. The original music and lyrics are by Don Goodner. Families are encouraged to attend for a fun filled evening on July 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd and 24th at 7 pm. A matinee performance is presented on July 25th at 2 pm. Tickets are available at the door for $5. In support of Farpoint Theatre, Harris County ’s Evelyn Meador is sponsoring the July 22nd show with free admission for all. Farpoint Theatre is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization.
