Seabrook Island lays claim to one of the widest, longest and most dynamic expanses of beach shoreline in the coastal Carolinas, and year after year we continue to naturally add to our beach. There are over three and a half miles of pristine and peaceful sandy locales to explore.
Pelican Beach is also known as Sunset Beach for obvious reasons if you have ever been there on a spectacular late summer evening. Pelican Beach is the island’s peaceful beach and is a perfect choice for young children to swim in the soft waves and slow current of the Edisto River as it meets the Atlantic Ocean. North Beach is for those who prefer the early morning sunrise over Seabrook, the first place that light touches at dawn. Located on the Eastern shore, it claims one of the widest fronts on the Carolina Coast. It begins with an overture of rolling dunes which are held in place by Sea Oats and Wax Myrtles. The sheer size of North Beach makes it a very dynamic part of the island. Wildlife is abundant here and the soft sand is the perfect place to wait and watch for dolphins to meander by at feeding time. The Sands at the Beach Club is where the action is! While residents and guests enjoy the oceanfront pools and a full service bar and restaurant, people flock here for the sand and the view. Here you can see both the sunrise and the sunset without ever leaving your beach chair. But don’t forget the sunscreen!

Helpful Information • Vehicles may not block roadways. Speed limit on Island is 25 mph and is strictly enforced. Only pass vehicles if waved by and do not pass bicycles at traffic islands.

Featuring 6,000 square feet of space to accommodate up to 300 guests for a seated dinner, the Atlantic Ballroom presents stunning ocean views and opens onto a gracious veranda.
The Ocean Terrace, perfect for wedding ceremonies, cocktail parties & other outdoor events, is the closest you can get to the water without putting your feet in the sand. The adjacent beach cottage is perfect for welcoming your guests to this special venue.

Deveaux Room
The Cooper Room is a traditional board meeting room which can comfortably seat up to 14 people. Conference phone, projection screen and multiple electrical outlets and wi-fi are available at all times. Coffee breaks can be tailored to your individual needs.
The Deveaux Room has a wraparound balcony with breathtaking sunset views of the ocean. At just over 1,000 square feet, the Deveaux Room can seat up to 50 guests for dinner or host 75 guests for a cocktail party.

The Carolina Room, at 1,400 square feet, is the perfect setting for a cocktail hour, as an intimate event space, or as a pre-function space to the ballroom. This space can seat up to 60 guests for dinner and features a built-in bar and spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Seabrook Is Wild! Other than birds, never feed a wild animal. Alligators reside in our ponds and lakes. Never, ever allow children or pets near the water’s edge. Play it safe with snakes: Stay clear! Resist the urge to pet or feed foxes and raccoons, even if they seem friendly. Be aware of our extremely strong tides and currents.

How to Help Sea Turtles on Seabrook Island + DO turn off all lights visible from the beach by 10:00 pm, May - October + DO stay away from nesting turtles and hatchlings + DO keep dogs on leashes + DO fill in all holes on the beach at the end of the day - DO NOT use flashlights or camera flashes around turtles or hatchlings - DO NOT leave trash or discarded beach items on the beach. Plastics can look like food, and turtles can become trapped in chairs, umbrellas, etc.

Please note that a deposit of $11 per each amenity card will apply to your credit card and will be credited when returned, in usable condition, on your departure. There are boxes to drop your amenity cards located at the Security Gate as you depart the island and also outside the Amenity Office. An itemized statement of all charges will be provided to you at the beginning of the month.
