Seaford Afternoon Flower Club

At this month’s meeting on 16th December we will be holding a Christmas Workshop where members will be invited to make their own Christmas table decoration in anticipation of the BIG day! We are sure that members and guests will enjoy being together to create something beautiful which they can display in their homes for their friends and families to admire. Our competition is called “Christmas Sparkle” and we know our members will present us with some delightful and original interpretations.

Last month’s competition was entitled An Artist’s Palette, and we were delighted by the quality and quantity of entries, some of which you can see here. Last month our meeting took the theme of Look! No Oasis and Other Techniques. In the drive to be greener and more environmentally friendly we are endeavouring to demonstrate techniques in flower arranging where it is not always essential to use floral foam and other methods, such as pin holders, flower roses, grids, glass pebbles, manipulated coloured wire and moss can be used. We believe it gave our members food for thought.
