Cupani Garden As many of you know, Cupani Garden was closed in 2020 for some major renovation. We did manage to open for Covid compliant plant sales though. A huge thank you to those who supported us, raising over £3,000 for the learning disability charity Stay Up Late. We are delighted that for the first time ever we are open in April for the Spring garden. There are over 5,000 new bulbs planted around the garden, and if the weather is good they will hopefully be blooming. About two thirds of the rest of the garden has undergone a major revamp with lots of new, exciting planting. Some old favourites like Sweet Peas, Roses and Succulents remain but do come and see what we have planted in the newly created drought/gravel garden which will be at the peak of flowering in June and July. We will be serving afternoon teas and lunches (although worth booking lunch). In April we will also serve soup in case it is chilly. All our public openings this year are in aid of the National Garden Scheme (the NGS supports nursing
and healthcare charities). We will also run plant sales throughout the Spring and Summer with proceeds supporting Stay Up Late. This year we will be able to offer a card reader for plant and other sales. Private bookings can be made from May to August.
