Labor Day
I
n celebration of the many hard-working Americans upon whose backs the strength, well-being, and prosperity of our country was built, Labor Day also signifies, for many, the end of the summer and the beginning of fall. In Beaufort it’ll still be hot for a bit, but with the kids back in school and our daily routines soon getting back to something close to “normal” (whatever that means) make sure to enjoy this last hurrah out on the water with your folks and friends. What with the football season cranking into high gear, both Saturday and Sunday (and for most of us, Friday night too), are effectively booked up for the next few months, reser ved for our gridiron favorites. And it’ll be all Carolina/Clemson or Eagles/Dolphins around the office water cooler or coffeemaker too, so best hope your boys are having a good year or we promise you’ll never hear the end of it. So what are your plans for Labor Day? And are y’all ready for fall?
