Malahide Easter In Oz ‘Eggs’travaganza Malahide Castle and Gardens will be holding an Easter trail on 26th March 2016. This year’s event incorporates all the wonders of the magical world of Oz and this is their fourth annual Easter Trail. This year, revellers will be able to follow the Yellow Brick Road through the castle grounds magical botanical gardens. Each explorer will be provided with a map and clues that will help you along the way. You will also get help from the Scarecrow, the Tinman and the Cowardly Lion. Children are warned to be cautious though, because there is always the chance that you might just run into the Wicked Witch of the West whilst on your quest. Once all clues have been collected, you can bring them to the beautiful and clever Glinda, the Good Witch of the North where she awaits you with your Easter surprise. Inside the castle you will be met by a wonderful wizard who will be performing all sorts of witchcraft and wizardry. His show will run for approximately 45 minutes. The Easter Trail is a great day out for the whole family. You can choose between the morning event which takes place from 10.30am - 12.30pm or the afternoon one which takes place from 2.30pm 4.30pm.
