MASTER`S PROJECT
PROTOTYPE GINGA INTERACTION EXPERIENCE Master in Advanced Architecture Presented in SONAR Music Festival Barcelona 2014 PROTOTYPE GINGA is a piece of wearable technology built with open source technology as part of an interactive experience that explores the relationship between the human senses and the synesthetic capabilities of the human brain. Through a series of sensors that record the movements of the arm, sounds are generated. In this way the dance is what generates the music.

VOLUNTEERING
SMART URBAN FOOD ROOF GARDEN Smart Urban Food JARDÍN
2014-2015 A group of Master’s students with the help of volunteers designed, built and cultivated a garden on the roof of the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia in Barcelona. The objective was to evaluate the viability of producing our food WITHIN the city. The transport and export of food throughout the world has serious environmental repercussions that could be avoided if we learn to produce food where it is consumed, also favoring diversity and food security. Increasing the number of plants within the city also helps to clean polluted air, reduces the effects of climate change, brings psychological benefits, and promotes healthier lifestyles and organized communities. The project started from the “Urban Food Lab” workshop organized by IAAC and Refarmthecity.org.
