Problem: Create a passageway through a medieval era stone wall. - The wall height is 3.80m.
 - Its thickness is 1.40 m.
 - The wall separates a stone place from a natural grove. - The place is 80cm higher than the grove. - The length of the wall is not important.
Approach: For
this project my aim is to exploit the openings as a transition space, to see it even as a place, all
based on a

ratio.
The study of the particular layout of the framework, allowed me to make two distinct facades. From the side of the place which is 80cm lower than the grove, I chose to make an opening showing firstly the passage, and also access to a dominant level. On the other side my choice fell on the making of an opening the size of a standard door. Given the culminating height of the place, the railing will create the framework. Also the coloured concrete in the ground opposite the stone will produce a powerful appeal.

Approach: My concept is based on high visibility for clients and for staff. The spaces created have been defined by the layout. This layout has created circulation, a reception area and a private area. Upon entering the hotel, the customer is immediately directed to the desk and not to the rooms, or the restaurant, private areas of the hotel. The layout plan is devised from the overall design. This keeps the direction of the desk. All furniture measures 75cm high except the desk. The latter has a wooden board overhanging the concrete monolith thus providing a height of 1m15. The same treatment is given to the foundations of which the cavity is 45cm raised by a board giving a 50cm height. This plank generates a visual effect, of lightness and a wider utility.

The structure has a negative joint between the paving stone and the arch to give it an effect of lightness. Regarding the appeal, the north side has a narrow pillar and a long walk overflowing the infrastructure. Whereas the south side is the opposite: a large pillar and a short walk. Regarding framing, the first gives a view looking down on the square, the second gives a facial view of the latter. As far as the third is concerned being in a supine position, it gives a view of the continuity of the small arch.

chose the theme of steps, a structure allowing a view of

The
structure must be permeable, being able to be crossed by the users who regard it as a

Approach: In this project, I wanted to re-dimension the space by creating a second inhabited skin. These winding premises shaped like a hose, with little natural light, made me think of a tunnel. From there, I wanted to accentuate the tunnel impression by a vault. The latter is translucent retro- style polycarbonate held by metal hoops. All the technology passes behind the vault. The frame of this vault allows the installation of doors giving access to the multipurpose room of the floor which is in its original state, as toilets or storage. The frame also allows the insertion of niches where we find the working tools useful for the proper functioning of the establishment, or seating. The vault overhangs the pavement creating an appeal and then tightens in the middle before gradually widening creating a dynamism to the room. By the continuation of this eaves are created allowing customers to shelter while enjoying the garden.
