Dear Member, This is your official notice and invitation to the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Membership of Sumter Electric Cooperative, Inc. (d/b/a SECO Energy) scheduled for Saturday, March 19th at the Annual Meeting Pavilion, located across the street from the corporate headquarters at the junction of highways 301 and 471 in Sumterville. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and continues until the business meeting begins at 10:30 a.m.

Per the bylaws, the following will be covered: • reports from the President and the Chief Executive Officer, introduction of Trustees, and • other business that may appropriately come before the meeting.

Please attend and participate in the co-op business meeting.

From the south, west or I-75, follow this established route: If traveling north on US Hwy 301, turn right onto CR 520 to park.

If traveling east on CR 470 from I-75, turn right at the US Hwy 301 and then make a left turn onto CR 520.

Watch for SECO personnel with signs.

If you or your guest have a disability, please have a disabled parking permit on your mirror.

Employees will guide you to parking and shuttle service.

Members must register to participate in co-op business and prize drawings. Complete the account information on the back and bring this notice, your electric bill and identification (photo ID) to the meeting.

• Members with more than one account may register and vote only once.

• Only the person, or the spouse of the person whose name appears on the official records of Sumter Electric Cooperative, Inc., may register and vote.

• Each member or member’s spouse must present identification at registration.

• Registration and voting of members, other than members who are natural persons, shall be allowed upon the presentation of satisfactory evidence entitling the person presenting same to register/vote.

Express Registration

Upon arrival at registration: 1. Present this notice with your account information provided in the space below.

2. Bring a copy of your electric bill for express registration.

3. Present photo ID.

I, the undersigned, do certify that I am a member in good standing of Sumter Electric Cooperative, Inc., that I have paid a $5 membership fee, and that I am presently receiving electric power from SECO Energy.

You must bring a photo ID plus a copy of your electric bill.
