Planning a Fun After-Prom Party Juniors and seniors in high school usually look forward to their prom dance throughout most of the school year. Junior and senior girls especially love getting ready for and going to prom because they get to wear a pretty dress and get dolled up. Boys may not be as excited for prom because they have to dress in a stuffy and constricting prom tuxedo that is quite uncomfortable. However, prom usually ends up being quite a fun experience for all involved. Many high school kids don’t consider what they’ll be doing after the actual dance, though. Many high school kids choose to have wild and crazy parties that end up getting out of control. In order to avoid these out of control parties, here are a few ideas on what you can do after the prom dance. One fun thing that many high school kids do is have a bonfire.
Bon Fire If you live near a beach, a bonfire would be quick and easy to put together. Just find a friend who knows how to make a fire, and have he or she tell everyone else what they can do to help. Make sure you let the person who knows what they’re doing be in charge, though, so the fire doesn’t get out of hand or dangerous. Tell everyone to bring pillows and blankets that they don’t mind getting sandy. You and your friends can all sit around the bonfire and tell jokes and stories so you can get to know each other better. You can even find that special someone to cuddle up with when the night starts getting cold.
Game Night Another great idea for an after prom activity is a game night. Invite all of your friends over to your house and tell them to bring their favorite games. You and your friend could play board games, video games, night games, or any other kind of game you can think of. Order a pizza, make popcorn, or open a bag of chips for an easy snack idea.
Each man can shed his prom tuxedo and change into more comfortable clothes for the game night. Everyone will have a nice, calm, comfortable time at a game night after-prom party. An additional idea for an after prom activity is a movie marathon. Tell your friend to bring one of their favorite movies, or a movie that they’ve wanted to see for a while. Once everyone gets to your house, put all the movies in a line and have everyone vote on which movie you should watch. When you finish the first movie, start another one. Keep going until everyone has either fallen asleep or gone home. You can even continue the movie marathon on another night until all the movies have been watched. As you can see, there are many ideas for activities you can do with your friends after the prom dance. All you need is a little creativity and a positive attitude.
