THIS 1 DAY WORKSHOP IS OFFERED IN MIRQAH’S UNIQUE MIX OF CASE-STUDIES, GAMES, & REFLECTIVE LEARNING.
This workshop is designed to provide a local perspective on a set of communication skills previously harvested in Seeds of Peace alumni. It represents a chance for Seeds of Peace alumni to practice their skills under guidance and coaching and to stimulate discussion of some of the most serious and most common communication challenges they face in their country today. Through a set of tailored case studies, roleplays, and guided discussions, participants will get a chance to further hone their communication and dialogue skills in a localized setting.
This workshop will focus on helping participants learn how to: 1.Use trust, empathy, and empathic listening to ensure successful communication. 2. Simplify messages in both verbal and nonverbal communication to build meaningful dialogue. 3. Building successful dialogue despite differences in opinion and ideology in their local communities.
