As a French Immersion teacher, it’s also really fun to have the students showcase their second language learning to their parents.
A kindergarten student who was quiet and shy had started in French Immersion, and the parents were worried that their child would struggle to learn a new language and be engaged. They asked the child how things were going but got little response at home.
