(Washington, DC) -- A new poll shows 61-percent of Americans disapprove of the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade one year ago. Just over half say they’re strongly against the Dobbs decision that turned abortion rights back to the states, according to the NBC News poll. Those views are broken down along party lines, with 92-percent of Democrats saying they disapprove of the ruling and 65-percent of Republicans saying they do approve of it. Women, especially younger female voters, were more likely to disapprove than men.

(Charlotte, NC) -- Vice President Harris says the Supreme Court took away a fundamental right one year ago. She spoke in Charlotte Saturday on the one-year anniversary of the Supreme Court’s ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade. The decision ended the Constitutional right for women to access abortions after five decades. Harris recalled saying “how dare they” when she first heard about the Supreme Court’s decision. A NBC News poll released Friday showed 61-percent of Americans disapprove of the High Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Klobuchar Says Fallout From Roe V. Wade Overturn Just As Expected (Minneapolis, MN) -- Senator Amy Klobuchar says the fallout from Roe v. Wade being overturned is exactly as she predicted a year ago. Appearing on CNN’s State of the Union, the Minnesota Democrat said the U.S. now has a “patchwork” of abortion laws that varies from state to state. She noted a ten-year-old girl in Ohio who had to go out of state for an abortion when she became pregnant after being raped. U.S. Agencies Still Divided On COVID-19 Origins

(Washington, DC) -- US Intelligence agencies are still divided on where COVID-19 came from. On Friday, a new report was released from the Office of the Director of National Intelligence on the origins of the pandemic. Five intelligence agencies, including the National Intelligence Council, believe natural exposure to an infected animal is the most likely cause. However, the FBI and the Department of Energy concluded a laboratory-associated incident was a more likely scenario for the first human infection. The CIA says it was unable to determine the precise origin of the pandemic, as all the theories “rely on significant assumptions” or face “conflicting reporting.”
