Today’s schedule includes the opening of gates at 5 p.m. Again, there will be free grounds admission until 6 p.m.

AGs Across 14 States Sue TikTok Over Youth Mental Health Concerns (Trenton, NJ) -- Attorneys General across 14 states are suing TikTok for unlawful practices that allegedly harm children and their mental health. New Jersey Attorney General Matthew Platkin’s office is filing one of those lawsuits, claiming the social media platform owned by the Chinese company ByteDance knew user safety was an issue and failed to fix features that encouraged compulsive use. New York, California, and Massachusetts are some other states filing lawsuits against TikTok. Meantime, Platkin says he’ll continue to go after social media platforms that promote unhealthy habits, including Meta and Discord.

Officials at the Baxter North Cove facility about 30 miles from the devastated town of Asheville, North Carolina said a nearby levee breach resulted in water getting into a building, forcing a halt in production of an estimated one-point-five-million I-V bags a day. Georgia

And

Texas Abortion Bans In The Spotlight

(Atlanta, GA) -- Georgia’s Supreme Court is reinstating the state’s six-week abortion ban. The ruling comes a week after a lower court had struck the ban down. That decision had allowed the procedure to resume and made them legal up to 22 weeks of pregnancy. The six-week ban will now remain in effect while the Georgia Supreme Court considers the state’s appeal of last week’s decision. Meanwhile, the U.S. Supreme Court will not take up a lawsuit over Texas’s near-total ban on abortions. Justices are refusing to hear a case involving the rules for emergency rooms. That means a lower court ruling remains in place. It found that ER doctors must follow state law, which bans the procedure unless a mother’s life is in danger.
