First Day of Hybrid Learning

Hybrid Learning has begun for select grades and initially a small number of students. On October 15, 2021, SPH Pluit Village welcomed back grade 9 and 1 students to participate in the first hybrid learning program. For the past 18 months, classes and hallways have been empty and quiet. It has been a good start to Hybrid Learning with these students. It was wonderful and fun to see teachers giddy with excitement at the return of students to school after so long!

Grade 9's First Day of Hybrid Learning

The following week, Grade 10 and 2 students joined the hybrid learning. We have carefully arranged their schedule so that they will be in the safest environment possible, while still being able to enjoy the hybrid learning experience. During that day, we also welcomed K2 students back at school to experience a one-day pre-hybrid learning to get the feel of it before officially getting back on campus next Monday.

Moving Forward

We gradually add grade levels each week, beginning with limited numbers of students in each grade. In-school learning remains optional for all SPH PV families.

We are aware that everyone will need to take some time to adjust to the new mode of learning. However, moving forward, we will continue to review our teaching routines and practices to make sure we provide quality learning opportunities for all students in both online and offline learning.
