Then, master craftspeople in our upholstery workshops make every stitch and sew every detail by hand, exactly the way you want it. From hand-tailored fabric or leather to hand-placed details, your upholstery is yours, and yours alone.

Much of our wood furniture begins with wood harvested from sustainably managed Appalachian forests. In Beecher Falls, Vermont, where our company began, we mill and kiln-dry lumber ourselves; then, our master craftspeople begin creating the piece you’re dreaming of.

Imagine a bed made for getting cozy when it’s cold outside. We’ll add one-of-a-kind design elements—a carved or steam-bent headboard, hand-placed veneers, lathe-turned posts—and apply your chosen finish by hand, one layer at a time, until it’s just right.

In our own North American workshops, your furniture comes to life in the hands of our artisans. They combine talent, skill, and passion to add their unique point of view to every piece— because one-of-a-kind furniture, made in North America, is the core of who we are.
