The Comprehensive Resource Model: Healing Perpetrator Patterns Across Timelines

and Lineages

Working generationally does not require you to subscribe to any specific belief system or agree with any particular mechanism of effect. It does not much matter at this early stage of scientific inquiry whether you think of generational healing as a product of metaphorical psychodrama, epigenetic changes, or remembering of actual events. We do not know why or how exactly this works. For the healing purpose of clients suffering now, it likely does not need to be. The important feature of this work is that it promises to clear clinical symptoms that are resistant to existing treatments.

Clearing the roots of and defence responses to experiences of perpetration using generational work aims to:

1. Dismantle obstacles to treatment and healing in the current timeline

2. Facilitate transformation of perpetrator self-states into resources that support the therapeutic process and improve day-to-day life

3. Support the client to release self-judgment and catalyze a positive relationship to self

4. Promote the healing of clinical dissociation and other presenting symptoms

5. Re-connect us with higher truths about Self that have been dissociated throughout human evolution

The

The science and the mystery of CRM creates the neutral zone ― or sacred space ― to facilitate generational work with the client.

What is CRM?

Frank Corrigan, MD FRCPsych, Argyll and Glasgow. Scientific Consultant for CRM. Dr. Corrigan is the Developer of Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), a cutting edge brain-stembased model for healing pre-verbal attachment wounds

Our Mission Statement is “To remember, reprocess, and release traumatic material from the nervous system in order to provide the opportunity for re-connection to one’s true self, the meaning of the truth of one’s life, and to the ability to embody love in one’s choices and actions”

Our Action Statement is “To Engage the Neurobiology of Resourcing”

CRM Trauma Processing embedded in solid psychotherapy

CRM is not a tool but rather a system of healing that uses the whole brain

CRM Treatment Goal/ Mechanism of change

● To Re-consolidate emotional learning memory by accessing, orienting fully toward, and stepping into the intolerable, unbearable affects of state-dependent memory BEFORE defense responses of fight-flight-freeze, hide, avoid, submit, collapse, dissociate kick in

● When intolerable pain is experienced as tolerable during the re-membering (Walsch 1996), the need for defense responses/symptoms/ presenting problems is dismantled and integration of dissociative states is possible.

● This “dandelion root” moment of physical/emotional pain may occur in the Truth of Our Life events from the moment of conception through the present

● The CRM Resource Scaffolds provide the body and brain-based safety (even if emotional safety is not present) needed to oriented TOWARD, step into and feel fully the root pain that created the need for the symptoms that we treat in trauma survivors

Goal of “Integrating” Core Self - Adult Self - Wounded Parts of Self is, in reality, the remembering that we are and always have been whole , never broken or defective regardless of our trauma. Seperation or disconnection does not mean “Not Whole”.

Hypothesis on the Neurobiological and Neurochemical foundations of CRM

The Neurobiology of Trauma

Three looping systems operating simultaneously

1. Threat to Existence - Superior Colliculi – Midbrain – Survival

Terror/Intolerable Affects Generated – Autonomic Nervous System –

Limbic System – Cortical Areas – Midbrain

1. Mesolimbic dopamine system (MLDA)– Neurochemical release in the context of affiliation and SEEKING attachment valence

1. Stimulus/Context response learning in amygdala and hippocampus

The Neurobiology of CRM

● CRM is an attachment based model activating the care/nurturing part of the periaqueductal gray (PAG) which runs like a computer program in the background; holding the door jamb open, through an eye position, to the resource affects of the PAG

● This door jam facilitates positive cognitions and affiliation neurochemical release of mu opioids, prolactin and oxytocin (creating a positive Seeking valence) which in turn allows orientation toward the trauma loops without activating defense responses (preventing dissociation or retraumatization during therapy).

● Each layer of CRM resourcing creates parallel loops relevant to Loops #1 - #3 allowing for full re-membering of “dandelion root” events which then dismantles the need for trauma Loops #1 - #3.

The window of opportunity for state-dependent change

● In drawing attention to the central importance of Memory Reconsolidation as a crucial variable in successful psychotherapy, and in describing this phenomenon with great clarity, Bruce Ecker (2012) has rendered a great service to the field, while there are important differences to note between CRM and his Coherence Therapy.

● In order for the implicit emotional learning associated with implicit traumatic memories to undergo transformational or deep change in therapy, the theory of Memory Reconsolidation indicates that we need to facilitate a “mismatch“ between the activated implicit memory/emotional learning which we are targeting (the trauma), and a concurrent new learning experience which contradicts it (the CRM resource scaffold).

● This allows for the synaptic encoding of the old learning to be then replaced by the synaptic encoding of the new learning, as the target memory re-consolidates, and in this way replaces the old implicit memory/associated implicit emotional learning.

● The facilitation through CRM of this concurrent deep experience of safety and connection through carefully scaffolded internally-generated “resources” is a highly effective and efficient way of creating what is required for the neurobiological/neurochemical mismatch experience which allows our clients/their ego states to step into and feel fully, and so process and digest and heal radically, what we know can otherwise so easily be overwhelming.

The CRM Resource Scaffold

CRM opens a treasure chest in different realms of consciousness through robust brain and body-based internal resource scaffolding.

• Attunement

• Numerous types of Breathwork

• Affiliation and Belonging Neurochemistry via relationship to the natural world

• Embodiment

• Internally generated secure attachment neurobiology/neurochemistry

• The target issue/symptom/presenting problem

• CRM Core Self

• Geometry, toning/sound, imagery, intention, ancestral resources, ruthless relationality-based parts work

The attuned use of CRM resources allows a client to bearably experience what would otherwise be unbearable: the affect/pain generated by the neural circuits where the traumatic material is held. CRM can therefore be used to catalyze the safe remembering of story, context, and emotions – including the shattering roots of somatic pain and terror transmitted across lineages, dimensions, timelines and species. This process of emotional memoryreconsolidation can transform the client (and the identities/patterns in the lineage) into an integrated WHOLE.

CRM is not working within the Window of Tolerance (Siegel 2012) but rather we are creating a new Window of Tolerance moment-to-moment that continues to expand across time and sessions. One might consider that we are expanding the Window of Tolerance to heal trauma and dissociation AND access expanded states of consciousness

Eye Positions Anchor Connection to Neurobiological States

Hypothesis is that the resources available to a human being in any timeline are always greater than the obstacles. There is a benevolence to the evolution of humanity first and foremost. Each individual is consciousness having a human experience therefore each human can go into their own higher dimension as well as the horizontal backwards through the lineages and lifetimes while in the energetic envelope of CRM Resource Scaffolds.

● CRM Resourcing is to be employed in the context of activation/client education around why and how to use it

● CRM Resourcing is NOT for general needs of emotional regulation through avoidance, soothing, distraction and by-pass

CRM supported by research findings

Irish Prison System CRM with Groups

• Results from this research indicate that a brief CRM group intervention can be effective in reducing trauma symptomatology and alexithymia symptomatology among individuals in custody. Limitations include the absence of a control group, a small sample size and short intervention duration. Studies which address these limitations are recommended in the future, in an effort to increase the evidence base for trauma-specific, recovery based therapy in mental health services.

How CRM can be used to heal perpetrator patterns in generational lineages.

What is Generational Healing with CRM?

● Unresolved generational trauma impacts individuals in this time-line, manifesting through addictions, medical conditions, relationship patterns, and psychiatric symptomatology that do not respond positively to treatment.

● Generational trauma may create obstacles to healing trauma, dissociation and the above conditions in the current time-line.

● We have often discovered that survival terror-related events which are sourced originally in generational time-lines can be healed through various CRM interventions at multiple points in the therapy.

● When therapeutic interventions in the current lifetime have no effectiveness, it is likely that the source or “place” to work on the ROOT CAUSE of the issue for maximum results is in the ancestral lineages.

● Finding and processing Choice Points in the lives of ancestors reveal and heal the VictimPerpetrator-Rescue patterns in the client in the current timeline

● Clinical observation and clients’ reported experiences suggest that some members of each generation are a “carrier” of the original source root and defense response imprints born of trauma in those ancestral lineages. This is particularly apparent with clients who were scapegoated by their traumatized family and reflects a pattern of “not looking” or “turning the blind eye” by the previous generations in the lineage(s).

● The myriad of ancestral wounds are inherited by “carriers” which manifest in numerous psychiatric symptoms or mental health issues currently.

● A consideration that is a reality for many, is that long-standing collective human “issues” and the energetic/template/information from those issues are echoing in and through all of us. This Collective reverberation informs the reality check that we are carriers for the collective, aside from any personal connection to perpetrator/victim/rescuer roles in any of our individual lifetimes or lineages

● Examples of collective echoes are those sourced in thousands of years of oppression, human trafficking, war, familial abuse/incest, abandonment and neglect of children, loss of homeland/culture and seperation from a direct connection to Source

● Turning a blind eye to these issues in the lineages or the present is in itself perpetration

● It is a relief for many to know that we are vulnerable to the perpetrator imprints from the collective as it helps to start the process of lifting self-blame and judgement and puts the work where it needs to be (outside of the client’s personal connection to lineages or timelines). We are, however, still asking them to LOOK and explore responsibility for discerning and transmuting aspects of trauma unfolding in their consciousness in this lifetime as well.

Origins of perpetrator self-states, activities and energies in generational lineages and current timeline

● Perpetration is defined as harmful acts of omission or commission, occurring on a continuum from the most horrific ritual abuse and trafficking to implicit, covert, actions in which the best interest of the victim is genuinely deemed to be the goal.

● All of us have been perpetrators of some kind, at some level, either toward self or other, in this lifetime as well as possibly being a “carrier” of unresolved perpetrator trauma in the ancestral lineages.

● Perpetrator activities and energies are found in all three ancestral lineages - maternal, paternal, and spiritual.

Perpetrator self-states are challenging to the success of healing trauma and dissociation as they maintain

homeostasis of the internal system that avoids pain and needs to manifest existence and power as an organism

Why this work is often neglected or avoided

● Self as perpetrator is a topic that is often excluded from healing work unless presented consciously and intentionally as an issue to be targeted in therapy. Perpetration manifests in covert ways as well, creating insidious inter and intra-personal dynamics.

● It is important for therapists, as well as clients, to address their experiences as a perpetrator, as well as a victim, in order for integrated healing to occur in its totality. Normally, considering self as a perpetrator activates “orient away”.

● The importance of this may often be diluted under the auspices of countertransference in supervision. Avoiding this aspect of our history does a disservice to ourselves and clients although it is an extremely uncomfortable aspect of one’s personal healing work.

Three Strands or Sources of Trauma (generational, past life or current timelines)

Experiences in all strands potentially create judgement-based belief systems that become fossilized across time-lines due to "I don't deserve....", "I am unforgivable", "Humans suck and deserve to be hurt", "You don't let yourself off the hook". The unbearable soul-searing, heart-breaking, shattering pain that creates the need for perpetrator activities is the target for the emotional re-consolidation work. The judgment of self and others associated with victim-rescuer-perpetrator roles also requires targeted processing/healing.

Within those strands, are multiple potential sources of pain that create the need for perpetration behaviors/self-states (including INADVERTENT vacant, dissociative parenting). It is this previously intolerable pain that is the target for treatment/emotional re-consolidation.

Perpetrator states are created FROM roots of unbearable affect/physical pain, AND contain their own root pain

● Processing sometimes requires full orientation toward, re-membering and accessing the pain (as a victim) that created the NEED to become a perpetrator and the self-hatred that is a result of those acts

● In generational work the client often is required to access the pain that created the perpetrators that victimized the lineage that then created others in the lineage as perpetrators…. as well as rescuers and rescue failures and sequelae.

● There are, in fact, generational choices, behaviors and imprints that are NOT a result of being victimized first. Processing these means full re-membering, without judgement, the antecedants, emotions, and sequelae to causing harm that are often simply part of the soul’s need to experience the shadow side or meet ego-needs for their own sake.

● Processing is required to dismantle, release, transform and lift judgment and “I am unforgivable” beliefs associated with participation in perpetrator activities, rescue failures and generational locus of control shifts.

The Split from Self

● Is the first Dissociative split and that which we are working to heal. This occurs from victimization, perpetrator choices/actions, and the failed rescuer

● “My/the generational perpetrator activities and choices split me from my integrity despite the perceived necessity of the moment.

● The root work is what the rupture in self was a result of- that split in self is a tragic result of painfully unbearable emotional learning around the Truth of the Life.

● What is the context and pain of what happened that caused the person to make the decision to X,Y Z which led to a rupture with integrity, faith and Self

● “I become one of them in order to justify the choice and consequencesof those choices and avoid the intolerable nature of the guilt, the arousal, the guilt over not feeling guilty but rather enjoying the power etc”

● The belief system of “ I am UNFORGIVABLE” carries down over and over through generations; influencing free will, choices, power and worth

Dissociation

● Generational Themes are often disconnection and separation currently manifesting in or reflecting in dissociative disorders in the individual in this lifetime as well as dissociation from dissociation in the Collective outside of the purview of mental health treatment.

● Generational traumas themselves often reflect the separation theme (from land, culture, language, religion, gender, masc/fem energy, Source/spirituality, power, intuition, art, music, “song”/prayers, children, parents, spouses.)

● These generational traumas carried by some of us in each generation, have created belief systems, frozen dandelion roots, defense responses and powerlessness; all of which attract the same kind of trauma experiences now that reflect that original root.

● Humans in this timeline experience abuse, neglect and vacancy

ATTACHMENT DISRUPTION,

emotional and physical pain, and addictions to name a few, all of which cause or are caused by dissociation. Perpetrator self-states create blocks and obstacles to healing this dissociation.

The dissociation in the individual will heal by this two prong conceptualization

● Current lifetime trauma processing and resourcing

● Generational trauma processing and resourcing .

Goal is to promote individual healing and “Association” (unity) with self, the lineages and a higher truth that has been dissociated by trauma; generationally and in this timeline. As a start, CRM would define this truth as:

● the interconnection between all living things

● our existence depends on the natural world

● we are never alone

● we are here to re-member our Source nature and essence

● reality is much more than what is seen and proven

● there is no such thing as good or bad; how we respond to it is what matters

● the birthright of every human to connect directly with Source

● the power of choice lies with free will which is also our birthright

● love, compassion and releasing judgement will alleviate fear and hate.

“IT STOPS WITH ME”

is the choice clients make or don’t make.

We are asking the client to look at what contributed to the perpetrator situation that had unfortunate and/or unexpected consequences in the lineages as well as current lifetime, conscious or unconscious.

Belief systems born of client/ancestor as perpetrator are:

● I am unforgivable

● I am a sinner and therefore must suffer

● There is no other way of living

● I am going to scapegoat others to avoid responsibility for myself

● There is no such thing as love, unity and connection

These belief systems contribute to the blocks and obstacles to change in relationship to self and therefore healing is not possible.

We work to clear the victim-perpetrator-rescuer Truths of the Life in current lifetime and generational lineages which together allows for a willingness to choose deeper understanding, integration and a different life experience; all of which are possible when belief systems as above are dismantled and transformed.

When one heals themselves in their current lifetime, it ripples out to their lineages and the collective. Paramount to go beyond the left brain. Resources beyond that are accessible.

NOTE: not every individual having an incarnation in a lineage is automatically taking on everything all the way back.

Because perpetration is unresolved in the lineages it is having a negative effect present day; exacerbating the current neurobiology of trauma, feeding negative self-beliefs, strengthening obstacles to healing, and allowing the client to avoid pain and powerlessness.

Three-Prong Mechanism of Re-membering, Reconsolidation and healing

• 1. Somatic Attunement

• 2. Breathwork

• 3. Ancestral resources providing source of story, root, memories, re-membering

• Combining these three elements is what allows for the generational “dandelion root” to be accessed, identified, oriented toward, re-membered, dismantled, released, re-consolidated.

• CRM can process the root in slow motion and re-member the literal micro-second moment of creation of the perpetrator. This micro-second moment when “everything changed forever” is an imperative target of the work.

• In CRM, the “story” AND the affective/emotional dandelion root is necessary for full resolution and healing.

How CRM builds a bridge between neuroscience and metaphysics

The neurobiology and metaphysics of CRM create the perfect conditions for the healing of trauma and its sequelae generated trans-generationally, as well as in a client’s lifetime.

Combining neurobiology and metaphysics

CRM: The neurobiological mechanism of change through CRM facilitates emotional memory re-consolidation relevant to the truth of one’s life and previously unbearable affects, thereby dismantling the need for defense responses (symptoms), dissociation and blocks to healing and wholeness.

CRM is simultaneously working with the part of consciousness that is creative, clear and focused. It is in touch with the soul, the heart, the CRM Core Self and the design of one’s fundamental blueprint of energy and potential (Thomson & Schrei 2015).

● Consciousness: The fact of awareness by the mind of itself and the world/universe (seen and unseen).

● Consciousness is the mixture of our mind, heart, spirit, ancestors/past lives and our relationship with the Earth. Definition of consciousness: multi-layered, multi-dimensional field where there are many restrictions and compartments (like Russian dolls) – part of the human journey is to expand beyond the most contracted shell of consciousness.

We are all caught in a trauma matrix

● Individual souls and collective energies are influencing us; our consciousness is created out of the field of energy that is bouncing off of individuals, our family, our community, the Collective, the media and the educational systems.

● This means there is a lens of distortions; patterns and programming has been limiting and the understanding of consciousness has been limited. Therefore, in many cases people are imprisoned by aspects of consciousness.

● Therapists may be imprisoned by aspects of consciousness.

● As Thomas Hubl (2020) says: “We are looking at broken glass, through broken glass.”

Accessing altered states of consciousness through CRM

● Consciousness is far beyond the left brain understanding. Consciousness exists beyond the physical brain, the proof of which lies in the ability for clients to access disincarnate information, intention and wisdom as well as expanded aspects of their own intra-experience with CRM Core

Self

● The identities being accessed do exist and can be accessed through the field of consciousness of the client. We assist clients through CRM, in accessing areas of THEIR consciousness that are connected to ancestors and past lives.

● It is hypothesized that we aid clients in accessing these other levels of consciousness through: different brainwave states (ultimately landing in gamma); intention; the languaging of CRM resourcing/processes, the CRM Resource Scaffolds and the unwavering knowing that it can be done

● Included in this process is the creative access and use of ancestral resources, achieved through the invitation for the mind-body-heart to bring forward the ancient information, whether traumatic or resourceful, from an intentionally set metaphysical connection to the ancestors themselves and/or the records of them in the clients’ genetic material.

● The human brain translates information (manifested from the inter-relationship between light and sound) between the “Ancestral Field” and the human being in the current timeline – like opening a book or a TV show, all of the stories are there (Lazlo 2004).

● People have the ability to read, watch or hear what is available in the field of consciousness that coalesced around the seed of that ancestral identity/energetic imprint that remains in the discarnate state. The connection made through the sensory and metaphysical signals allow for an ease of access to this material within the lineages that is not present if one were to try to do this with strangers. This is why we help clients access the material, rather than the therapist in a “bridge” role (i.e., shamans).

● It helps to set the intention; having a benevolent, useful intention for the individual, specific, ancestor and the lineage as a whole. The collective will benefit as well because of the interconnectivity. Ancestors are “gathered” with the client within the healing.

● We are giving clients access to a bandwidth they didn’t know they had, facilitating communication and the transformation of matter (neural emotional reconsolidation learning in the brain itself) which promotes healing that is maintained permanently.

● We are making it possible and assisting clients in accessing their level of consciousness that knows how to do this and relay the information to the physical senses from the metaphysical senses.

● Clients are NOT making this up. We have an acceptance that there are multi-dimensional messages or appearances. The information in dreams is precognitive, prayer is another portal, and in sessions we are assisting the client in traveling to or connecting with the ancestors or other levels of consciousness that we as humans can access.

● CRM is speaking the language of the subconscious rather than the divided left-right brain of the conscious mind.

Interplay Between CRM Resourcing, Consciousness and Brain Waves

Interplay Between CRM Resourcing, Consciousness and Brain waves

Clinical observations and phenomenological experiences reported by CRM clients suggest that the model induces altered states of consciousness involving higher levels of information processing:

● Clear thinking

● Increased mental flexibility

● Spontaneous arrival at intuitive, coherent insights of a similar nature to those reported by wise or enlightened individuals across time and cultures

● Creative integration of vivid, multisensory information into coherent narratives

● Detailed memory recall and observable shifts in cognition that reflect changes in maladaptive core schemas and their associated emotional learning.

● Deep attentional focus

● Physiological changes, particularly resolution of frozen breathing patterns and reduction of somatic symptoms

Increased high frequency gamma activity is associated with altered states of consciousness reported by experienced meditators (Berkovich-Ohana et al., 2012), people under the influence of psychedelic substances (Acosta-Urquidi, 2017), and religious people having mystical experiences (Beauregard & Paquette, 2008). Since these states are similar to experiences reported by CRM clients, it is proposed that gamma brainwaves may elicit the altered states of consciousness observed in this model.

Gamma Activity and Meditation

Lutz et al. (2004) demonstrated that gamma activity over lateral frontal and parietal regions of the cortex correlated with self-reported clarity in experienced Tibetan practitioners of “non-referential compassion.”

Increased gamma activity is also associated with meditative states across different traditions:

● Buddhist meditation (Lehmann et al., 2001)

● Vipassana meditation (Cahn et al., 2010)

● Brahmari Pranayama yoga breathing meditation (Vialatte et al., 2009)

● Mindfulness meditation (Berkovich-Ohana et al., 2012)

● Tibetan g-Tummo meditation (Kozhevnikov et al., 2013)

Gamma Activity and Psychedelic Altered States

Increased gamma activity is also associated with altered state experiences in users of:

● N, N-Dimethyltryptamine (DMT) (Acosta-Urquidi, 2017)

● Psilocybin (Kometer et al. 2015)

● Ayahuasca (Stuckey, 2005; Don et al., 1998; Riba et al., 2002)

Gamma Activity and Mystical Experiences

In an EEG study conducted by Beauregard and Paquette (2008), gamma power was found to be increased over the right temporal brain region in Carmelite nuns having mystical experiences of communing with God. Gamma activity in the right temporal region has been implicated in the spatial perception of self (Neggers et al., 2006), leading the researchers to suggest that increased gamma activity in this context may have accounted for a reduction in perceived separation between Self and Other (in this case, God). Mystical, lucid dreaming, and psychedelic visionary states all resemble conscious dreaming states, and all involve heightened gamma brainwave activity (Brown, 2016).

Some research suggests that stimulating gamma activity in the brain enhances lucid dreaming. For example, Voss et al. (2014) showed that stimulation of 40 Hz (gamma frequency range) using transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) at frontal-temporal brain regions increased gamma activity and intensified aspects of lucid dreaming such as the insight that one is dreaming, control over dream plot, and dissociation from the dream’s protagonist.

Activating Gamma Brainwaves to Integrate a Disintegrated Attachment System

● Gamma leads to expanded consciousness which leads to Clarity and Focus (Strong 2002; Pennington 2017;); Clarity allows for access to an information exchange between the client and the “Field” of Generational imprints, energies and consciousness which is hypothesized to be transmitted through “antennae” in our DNA

● Consequently gamma is providing access not only to information needed to clear the generational roots of trauma symptoms but also allows for the “association” and weaving together of “then-andnow” needed to clear trauma in both timelines

● We postulate that CRM Resource Scaffolds facilitate activation of gamma and multidimensional realms of consciousness, activating the re-membering of all that has been dissociated while in an embodied state, allowing for memory re-consolidation that sticks.

Generational Trauma, Epigenetics and Healing in the Present

How ancestral resources help to heal the past and the present:

Ancestral resources are matched with CRM resources and juxtaposed with trauma re-membering in order to safely reveal and heal. The memory reconsolidation aspect of the work is done for the current lifetime memories as well as those in the ancestral lineages.

Epigenetics: Researched and peer reviewed material

● Epigenetic changes are heritable changes in gene expression that do not involve changes to the underlying DNA sequence. This affects how genes are translated into proteins, which in turn influences how organisms function.

● The genetics and epigenetics of PTSD are complex and far from fully delineated (see reviews by Uddin et al., 2012; Nugent et al.,2008; Kim et al., 2018).

● However, there is burgeoning evidence that behavior-relevant intergenerational transmission of traumatic experiences may occur epigenetically, particularly via alterations to sperm, and genes regulating the HPA axis, which is associated with stress tolerance (see reviews by Zannas et al., 2015; Matosin et al., 2017; Yehuda and Lehrner, 2018).

● Early research by Yehuda et al, 2001 discovered that children of Holocaust survivors (with PTSD) have both a higher risk of developing PTSD and lower cortisol levels. With offspring whose parents have PTSD having higher rates of PTSD as an adult as well.

● Further research on Holocaust exposure involving survivors, adult offspring and comparable parent and offspring (controls), found a positive correlation between survivors and their offspring with respect to degree of methylation on a section of the FKBP5 gene (Yehuda et al, 2016). The FKBP5 gene encodes a protein involved in regulation of the immune system and stress response. Methylation is the addition of CH3 molecules to the surface of a gene. This relatively small study also showed differential impact of environmental stressors (Holocaust exposure and childhood adversity respectively).

● This is the first demonstration of an association between preconception parental trauma and epigenetic alterations that are evident in both exposed parent and offspring, providing potential insight into how severe psychophysiological trauma can have intergenerational effects.

● Perroud et al. (2014) demonstrated that women who experienced the Tutsi genocide in Rwanda had offspring with reduced cortical volume, which was not associated with other potential confounding variables and may therefore be attributable to epigenetic mechanisms.

● Finally, epigenetic mechanisms not only turn short-term experiences into lessons learned for the remainder of the lifespan – they also mediate transgenerational transmission of fear learning and stress responsiveness. Pre-clinical studies in mice demonstrate that learned fear responses to particular odours in mice are transmitted to subsequent generations (Dias & Ressler, 2013) and are expressed into adulthood.

● Research in rodents also shows epigenetic changes in the sperm of offspring with paternal stress exposure, which supports the biological feasibility of transgenerational epigenetic inheritance (Bohacek & Mansuy, 2015).

Everything is Interconnected

● The Law of One may be approximated by stating that all things are one, that there is no polarity, no right or wrong, no disharmony, but only identity. All is one. In CRM we work without judgement along the spectrum of evolution of all that is.

● What lingers after death is an identity no longer embodied. A strand of this identity connects to the soul of the client. We hypothesise that there can be a dynamic energy exchange between the identity of the deceased ancestor in the field of consciousness and the actual soul of the client. We hypothesize that this is why there is change possible in other lives/timelines.

Receiving ancestral information

Receiving ancestral information through the human body/nervous system in the current timeline allows the client to re-member the source of trauma ancestrally, allowing for a concurrent healing of wounds that created perpetration across the timelines and within the lineages.

● Ancestral signals come through in the form of sensation, sound and light. During a CRM session, clients may “see” scenes from the past, “hear” messages, or experience somatic sensation related to the generational trauma.

● We postulate that metaphysical signals are conveyed through a unified field of consciousness – a concept found in varying iterations in ancient wisdom traditions, indigenous cultures and quantum physics.

Towards a possible hypothesis:

● Consciousness and biology are connected. Consciousness is primary, shaping energy into matter at the most basic biological level. Our physical body, therefore, is a vehicle for experiencing and utilizing different states of consciousness and aspects of Self.

● “Receiving” mechanism: We hypothesise that there are “receivers” in the DNA which can access the energetic imprints and consciousness of the disincarnate ancestral lineage/individuals. These imprints continue to exist long after the ancestor’s death.

● Accessing ancestral information through the body/nervous system enables the client to remember the source of trauma ancestrally, allowing for a concurrent healing of wounds that led to perpetration across the timelines within lineages.

CRM helps clients tune their receiver:

● By showing clients to how to access ancestral information through their DNA, CRM can counteract the sense of helplessness and hopelessness that so many clients experience before they learn this skill. CRM and the combination of commitment and compassion on the part of the therapist allows this to happen.

● Ancestral Resources: Conceptualizing ancestral resources as “energy fields” that contain the experiences of the original ancestor opens the possibility that these energetic patterns could be affecting us in the present. We don’t need to embrace the idea that long dead ancestors are affecting us in a more literal sense.

● Communing with our ancestors: When one calls in, speaks to, or has conversation with ancestors, we can think of it as communicating energetically with the seed of the identity of a particular ancestor(s), or a timeframe in the ancestral line. Numerous indigneous and Eastern cultures hold this idea as very important and perceive this connection as one of benevolent and essential assistance.

● Role of free will: Making a conscious choice to heal is critical to the work. A client’s perceptions of what they are capable of healing will be influenced by their soul’s level of evolution – and the therapist can help them to expand their sense of the possible.

Clearing perpetrator trauma:

Emotional memory learning re-consolidation of the Truth of the Life and the unbearable, shattering pain that created the need for perpetration activities and the fossilized beliefs systems resulting from being a perpetrator.

Intention, Intuition, Free Will, Choice, Brain neuroplasticity, Practice

• These are important CRM elements that therapists must weave into the process for highest potential effectiveness and maintenance of the gains made during sessions

Resources available: human body/neurobiology, ancestral, current timeline, internallygenerated, unseen, free-will based choices, ability to experience what is received from expanded levels of consciousness and other resources that are discarnate. We lay out the welcome mat in our consciousness, expanding it.

Level of responsibility in the path to healing: transcendence to higher consciousness and a healed relationship to self involves taking responsibility for Victim-Rescuer-Perpetrator patterns, doing between-session “practice” and making an active choice to participate in the healing process and the teachings of love, unity and compassion. Are we willing to continue the mission despite the challenging conditions?

● We suggest that every aspect/part/ego state of self is a holograph, holding the Whole of the Self within that part despite one “circuit” of the part being more energized than the others.

● The perpetrator parts of us hold the beauty of all that we are in our heart, soul and Core self; these parts also experience the grief, guilt, shame, yearning for love, terror, and physical pain (plus shame pain and attachment pain) that lies in judgement under the perpetrator’s power.

Even the darkest perpetrators carry light inside them, albeit buried under decades or generations of traumatic experience. Are we not, as healers, responsible for holding the belief that everyone has the potential to be healed?
