2018 ANNUAL STEWARDSHIP REPORT SEMINOLE BOOSTERS, INC.
“As we complete one of the most successful years in the history of Florida State Athletics, I want to thank you for your continued support. You should be very proud of the role you play in helping our Student-Athletes choose FSU and thrive here. I wish that you could be in the Moore Athletics Center for several days and interact with the young men and women representing our programs. Their intelligence, poise and maturity is remarkable, and many of them are already demonstrating effective leadership skills in the community. Your contributions to this effort are greatly appreciated and we must now do more to not only sustain but build on the accomplishments, we have enjoyed as a Florida State Seminole. Funding endowed scholarships for our StudentAthletes, while creating first-class facilities in which they can learn, condition, rehabilitate and compete are critical to our continued success. With your help, we will accomplish this mission on their behalf. GO NOLES!”
DAVID COBURN Director of Athletics
“All of our teams represented our University well in either post season competition or through National recognition. Coach Mike Martin notched win 2000. Our recent National Championships in softball and soccer have given us celebrations with friends, alumni and supporters. Thank you again for loving FSU Athletics and supporting all of our Student-Athletes on and off the field.“
DOUG RUSSELL Chairman of the Board, Seminole Boosters, Inc.
“As the Florida State University Athletic Department grows, and our coaches and Student-Athletes continue to excel on the field and in the classroom, the University must meet the cost of excellence. Your contributions make that possible. Your financial support provides the athletic department with a competitive edge and helps enhance the quality of the Florida State experience for our coaches, Student-Athletes, and fans alike. Thank you for helping create FSU’s long standard of athletic excellence, and providing the means to enrich the lives of every Student-Athlete on campus.”
ANDY MILLER President & CEO, Seminole Boosters, Inc. 2
“Last December, I became a college graduate and honestly this is so far from what I envisioned for myself. I cannot thank the Seminole Boosters enough for their financial support and providing me with the means to be a Student-Athlete. The support that they have given to my team through facilities and different enhancements in just four years is unparalleled. My life has forever changed because of my experience here at Florida State and I owe a lot of that to the men and women of the Seminole Boosters organization.”
NYQWAN MURRAY Football
“Getting a scholarship has been one of the best things to happen to me. It has given me an opportunity to play the game I love for the best school in the country. I can’t thank the Boosters enough for giving me this chance and allowing me to be a Seminole.”
CALI HARROD Softball
“To a Student-Athlete, a scholarship is like a basketball net. It’s there to provide us guidance and opportunity as we work hard to develop our skills and talents in the classroom and on the court. For me and my teammates, it provides us the chance to reach new heights on stages that we previously only dreamed about. Thanks to the generosity and support of the Seminole Boosters and to Florida State University, when we look to the future, in wherever we go or whatever we do, there’s nothing but net!”
