Unrestricted Giving

Unrestricted commitments are more important than ever before in helping to fund the priorities of the Athletic Department. Unrestricted funds provide the flexibility for FSUAA leadership to identify areas where they can have the greatest impact. Unlike facility or endowment gifts, unrestricted commitments are not earmarked for a specific designation and can therefore go to work immediately in core areas to support our student-athletes and Coaches as well as the athletic facilities. They can also help to cover operating costs that are accrued throughout the academic year. By providing Florida State with a steady stream of discretionary monies, unrestricted dollars enable the Athletic Department to fund recurring costs and to address unforeseen challenges as they arise.
