SWEET SOUNDS IN FEBRUARY AT SENECA NIAGARA EVENTS CENTER NIAGARA FALLS, NY – Seneca Niagara Events Center has not once – not twice – but three times the opportunities for a “lovely” evening of excitement around the Valentine’s Day holiday. Performing live in the 2,400-seat venue this February are romantic crooners Bobby Vinton and Bill Medley, as well as an Italian-cooking demonstration by TV’s “Cake Boss,” Buddy Valastro. The romance begins on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 8 p.m., as Bobby Vinton makes a return visit to Seneca Niagara Events Center after a full-house performance in March 2011. Dubbed “the all-time most successful love singer of the Rock Era” by Billboard magazine, Vinton is most famous for his hits “Roses are Red,” “Blue Velvet,” “Sealed with a Kiss” and “Mr. Lonely.” The “Polish Prince” – as he is commonly called – will be backed by an orchestra. Great seats are still available and start at $30. Seneca Niagara Events Center plays host to a rare early-evening performance on Sunday, Feb. 12, at 4 p.m., as Bill Medley of The Righteous Brothers performs timeless tunes such as “You’ve Lost That Lovin’ Feelin’,” “Unchained Melody,” and “(You’re My) Soul and Inspiration.” The early start-time was specifically-designed to offer a fabulous Valentine’s Day weekend concert right before having a special dinner to create a memorable experience. This year marks the 50th year since the formation of The Righteous Brothers and the 25th year since the release of Medley’s No. 1 duet with Jennifer Warnes on “(I’ve Had) The Time of My Life” for the movie Dirty Dancing. The Righteous Brothers were inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in March 2003. Tickets to see the “Blue Eyed Soul” carry on the group’s legacy start at $30 and are on sale now.
