Jennifer Caruso Named General Manager at New Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino

Caruso will oversee the daily operations of the casino and its workforce, which is expected to include approximately 500 employees with an estimated payroll of $52 million annually. She joined Seneca Gaming Corporation in 2005 and has served in a variety of financial and management positions at both Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel and at Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel. Since September 2011, Caruso has participated in the company’s Executive Leadership Development program.

Scheduled to open later this summer, the new casino will feature 800 slot machines and 18 table games, and will be a centerpiece in the continued redevelopment of the Inner Harbor area of downtown Buffalo. The new casino will replace the existing Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino on the Seneca Nation of Indians’ sovereign nine-acre Buffalo Creek Territory, which attracts more than 800,000 visitors each year.

Caruso most recently served as Vice President of Operations at Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel. She has also held such positions as Casino Controller, and Director of Finance at Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel, and Executive Director of Financial Planning & Analysis at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel.

Prior to joining Seneca Gaming Corporation, Caruso spent nearly ten years working for Foxwoods Resort Casino and the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation. A resident of Grand Island, she earned Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Connecticut.
