COUNTRY SUPERSTAR SARA EVANS ADDED TO SENECA CASINOS’ SPRING ENTERTAINMENT LINEUP Steve Earle and three other acts coming to Bear’s Den Showroom in May NIAGARA FALLS and SALAMANCA, NY – Just ahead of its unveiling of the 2013 Summer Rush Concert Series, Seneca Casinos announces new acts to round out its spring entertainment lineup. Topping the list is country superstar Sara Evans, who brings her powerful vocal skills to Seneca Allegany Events Center for a late-afternoon show on Sunday, Apr. 28 at 5 p.m. Also coming to the 440-seat Bear’s Den Showroom at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in May is Steve Earle, Steve Augeri, David Bromberg Quartet and Classic Albums Live presents: Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin II. Sara Evans will take the stage at Seneca Allegany Events Center in Salamanca, N.Y., on April 28 with a country-style grace that only she can deliver. Since her 1997 debut, Evans has charted five No. 1 singles, including “No Place That Far,” “Born to Fly,” “A Little Bit Stronger,” “A Real Fine Place to Start” and “Suds in the Bucket.” She has earned top honors from a host of music organizations, including Billboard, the Academy of Country Music, the Country Music Association, Broadcast Music Incorporated and the Gospel Music Association. Evans’ latest album, Stronger, reached No. 1 on the country music charts, and a follow-up album is currently in the works. Tickets for the 5 p.m. show start at a bargain-priced $20 and are on sale now. During the first weekend in May, it’s all about “Steve” at the Bear’s Den Showroom at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel in Niagara Falls, N.Y. Just announced for Friday, May 3 is Steve Augeri, a melodic rock singer who served as the lead vocalist for legendary rock


group Journey from 1998 to 2006. Tickets start at $55 and go on sale Monday, Mar. 18, at noon. The following evening on Saturday, Mar. 4, the Bear’s Den Showroom welcomes Americana legend Steve Earle to its stage. The GRAMMY® Award–winning folk/country artist comes to Niagara Falls on the heels of a new album, The Low Highway, which will be released on April 16. Tickets for the upcoming show start at $50 and are on sale now. On the weekend of May 17 and 18, the Bear’s Den Showroom will offer two very different musical groups. First up on Friday, May 17 is jazz group David Bromberg Quartet. The multi-talented Bromberg is a master of numerous stringed instruments, including the guitar, mandolin, Dobro® guitar and fiddle, and has played on hundreds of records by artists such as Bob Dylan, Eagles, Willie Nelson, Gordon Lightfoot, Carly Simon and Grateful Dead. Tickets start at $35 and are on sale now. The following evening on Saturday, May 18 is Classic Albums Live presents: Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin II. The Toronto-based concert series delivers a group of talented musicians who perform classic rock albums “note for note, cut for cut” in their entirety. Led Zeppelin II is listed at No. 79 on Rolling Stone magazine’s “Top 500 Albums of All Time” for 2011, went 12 times Platinum in the U.S. alone, and produced hits such as “Whole Lotta Love,” “Living Loving Maid (She’s Just a Woman),” “Ramble On” and “Heartbreaker.” Tickets start at $30 and go on sale Monday, Mar. 11, at noon. All Bear’s Den shows in May start at 8 p.m. One of Western New York’s most exciting concert series returns for 2013 when Seneca Casinos announces “Summer Rush” on Tuesday, April 2. The June through Labor Day celebration will include some of the very best names in entertainment, outdoor special events and blockbuster promotions on the gaming floor. Some of last year’s notable performers included Stevie Nicks, Larry the Cable Guy and Meat Loaf.
