GEORGIA MAN WINS BIG AT SENECA ALLEGANY RESORT & CASINO; SLOTS JACKPOT PAYS OVER $100,000 SALAMANCA, N.Y. – Salamanca may be a long way from the Deep South, but a Georgia man had plenty to write home about after visiting Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino on Wednesday. Gerard Kaizer of Dawsonville, Georgia hit a jackpot worth $101,546 while playing slots at the resort. Kaizer was playing a Spitfire Red Hot 7’s slot machine from International Game Technology PLC (IGT), a global leader in the design, development, and manufacture of gaming machines and systems products. “This is a day he is going to remember for a long time,” said Gus Tsivikis, general manager, Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino. “Being part of moments like that is fun. The excitement carries across the whole property.”
The Seneca Allegany jackpot comes just two weeks after a Buffalo man hit for a record $964,883.31 jackpot at Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino. All told, guests at the three Seneca Resorts & Casinos properties have won jackpots totaling more than $221 million since the start of 2015. The excitement at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino has been seemingly endless. Late last year, the Southern Tier’s premier resort destination unveiled an innovative new gaming floor design, featuring wider slot machine bases and larger, more comfortable chairs, designed to give patrons extra room while enjoying their favorite slots across the 68,000-square-foot casino. The revamped floor has seen plenty of traffic. Earlier this month, Seneca Allegany once again hosted the wildly popular AMSOIL Championship Snocross event, followed by its annual Sportsman’s Show this past weekend. Looking ahead, the resort has a stirring entertainment lineup scheduled throughout the Spring and Summer, highlighted by performances by: Daryl Hall, of Hall & Oates, and John Rzeznik, lead singer of the Buffalo-born Goo Dolls, teaming up for a special show on Saturday, March 26; comedian and impressionist extraordinaire Frank Caliendo on Saturday, April 2; legendary bluesman Buddy Guy on Saturday, April 23; and rock guitar legend Steve Miller Band on Saturday, May 7, all in the Seneca Allegany Events Center. When the calendar turns to June, the attention moves outside, as Country Music legend Travis Tritt performs an outdoor show on Friday, June 3. The following night, rock royalty comes to Salamanca, when Ringo Starr and His All Starr Band will perform a special outdoor show on Saturday, June 4.
