SENECA NIAGARA CASINO REVAMPING BALCONY AREA FOR YOUNGER PATRONS The Mezz opens December 26 to adults 18 and older NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – With the $26 million renovation of its main gaming floor nearly complete, officials at Seneca Niagara Casino are now focusing on a new presentation that will offer gaming and entertainment excitement to a new group of potential customers. Starting Dec. 26, 2013, the balcony area overlooking the main gaming floor will open to customers 18 years of age and older. Dubbed “The Mezz,” the area will continue to offer a wide selection of the latest and most popular slot machine offerings, just as it has for most of the casino’s 11-year history. In order to accommodate younger guests, the area is being walled off so those entering and leaving the area will be required to show identification. No alcohol service will be provided in The Mezz. “The balcony has been a very popular gaming area since we opened and patrons enjoy not only the games that are offered, but also the location overlooking the gaming floor,” said Cathy Walker, president and CEO, Seneca Gaming Corporation. “The Mezz gives us a unique, controlled location by which to introduce younger customers to all of the excitement available at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel and, in our opinion, a more rewarding entertainment experience than what they are accustomed to at other regional gaming venues.”
