SENECA NIAGARA RESORT & CASINO SET TO LET HOLIDAY SPIRIT SHINE Public invited to community tree lighting on December 1 NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. – Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino is inviting its friends and neighbors in Niagara Falls and across Western New York to share in a celebration of holiday spirit. A tree lighting celebration is planned for Tuesday, December 1 starting at 5:45 p.m. near Seneca Square, in front of Seneca Niagara’s 4th Street entrance. Students from the Niagara Falls High School Concert Choir will help to set the festive mood, performing a selection of holiday songs, while those in attendance enjoy complimentary coffee, hot chocolate and cookies provided by the culinary team at Seneca Niagara. It all leads up to the big moment, when the resort’s 30-foot tall tree is illuminated, along with light displays across the walkway above Seneca Square. The moment will be aired for a live television audience on WKBW-TV, with weather personality Aaron Mentkowski helping to flip the switch and welcome the holiday spirit to downtown Niagara Falls. “The holidays are a special time of year,” said Audrey Oswell, chief operating officer, Seneca Gaming Corporation. “We look forward to welcoming our neighbors to our front door and sharing the spirit of the season with everyone from Western New York.”
