NIAGARA FALLS, NEW YORK: (January 5, 2017) Two primary values held in high regard in the Seneca culture are thankfulness & appreciation. The Seneca culture believes that they are to give thanks every day. This is one of the many reasons Seneca Resorts & Casinos gives back to the communities it operates in by donating to local organizations year round as well as Holiday Giving! In addition to donations over the 2016 year, Seneca Resorts & Casinos and its 3 properties, Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino, and Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino held various holiday donation drives coordinated by Team Members (employees of the organization).

This holiday season Team Members at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino showed their amazing generosity through the ‘Adopt-a-Family Program’ that supports local families through Community Missions of Niagara Frontier, Inc. This year, 20 families and more than 50 children’s holidays were even more joyful.

Hundreds of toys, gifts, and grocery store gift cards filled the lobby of the Seneca Office Building as volunteers waited to fill an arriving Community Missions delivery truck. Team Member Allison Boynton, pictured with just a portion of the donations, was the coordinator of this year’s program at Seneca Niagara. The Adopt-A-Family program not only brought the families joy but also the Team Members who participated and were excitedly dropping off their gifts for delivery! Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino also held ‘Packages from Home’ supporting our troops. This initiative, led by Team Member Tracy Kennerly was an overwhelming success! Packages from Home saw Team Members donating food and hygiene supplies to be included in care packages to support U.S. troops overseas. These were all

packaged in Crown Royal bags from the resort. All 355 of the bags were packed by Team Member volunteers and delivered to the Niagara Falls airbase on Friday December 9th and were sent off to troops that are currently deployed and also distributed to many that are returning home soon. Crown Royal also made an $855.00 donation to the charity Packages from Home for all the crown royal bags that Seneca Niagara donated.

Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino Team Members also rallied together to deliver exceptional generosity to local causes. Team Members donated and wrapped hundreds of gifts for 112 preschool-aged children with Baker Victory Services, which offers a wide range of specialized, residential, outpatient, and educational services to local children, youth, and families. And Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino Team Members also donated a variety of items to the Child and Family Services Program in Irving, operated through the Seneca Nation Health System as well as an ongoing program of donations to the Salamanca Food Pantry.

Seneca Resorts & Casinos also has an internal employee program called the Team Seneca Cares Program within its doors that allows Team Members (over 4,000 employees) to choose causes and organizations that they connect to and they can donate their time and/or money to those organizations as well as lead initiatives similar to the holiday giving programs. In addition to the gift of giving, Team Members can also accrue points by giving of their time or money to these local initiatives in the Team Seneca Cares Program.

Donating to the communities around them and making the best work environment for their Team Members is an important objective for Seneca Resorts & Casinos and this year was another success!
