Doni Taube, an industry veteran who has worked at casino properties around the world, was recently named the corporation’s senior vice president of marketing. Taube will create the strategic vision for positioning Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel, Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel and Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino, as well as the overall Seneca Gaming brand, in the growing casino marketplace. The three Seneca casino properties combine to attract more than 15 million visitors each year, many from Pennsylvania, Ohio, other parts of New York and across the northeast United States, and Canada. “Doni brings a renewed strategic perspective to our efforts to build upon the strong name recognition and customer loyalty the Seneca casino properties already enjoy,” said Cathy Walker, president and CEO, Seneca Gaming Corporation. “As the geographic competition in the gaming industry continues to increase, our marketing programs need to be consistently strong and forward-looking. Doni has the demonstrated experience to help us introduce our properties and our entertainment experiences to new audiences.” Most recently, Taube was senior vice president of casino marketing and strategy at Resorts World Sentosa, a sprawling gaming and entertainment resort in Singapore. During his time there, the property was named Best Integrated Resort in 2011, 2012, and 2013 at the TTG Travel Awards, which recognizes the best of the Asia-Pacific’s travel industry. Prior to joining the Singapore resort, Taube spent 15 years in a variety of roles with the MGM organization, working in international and

global marketing for a number of properties, including the Mirage, Mandalay Bay, and Aria resorts. His experience has focused on such far-reaching markets as Europe, the Far East, Southeast Asia, South America, and the Middle East. He was named as one of the “25 People to Watch in 2011” by Global Gaming Business magazine, a leading industry publication. “Throughout the gaming industry, Seneca Gaming Corporation has earned a reputation as a model of strong performance, backed by meaningful capital investments and responsible leadership,” Taube said. “The results speak for themselves – all three properties are magnificent. I’m excited to work with the management team to accelerate the growth and performance of the Seneca brand and the Seneca experience.” In just the past few years, Seneca Gaming Corporation has completed more than $200 million in capital projects its three of its casino properties, including the new $130 million Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino, which opened last year, the $26 million renovation of the main gaming floor at Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel, and the completion of a second hotel tower at Seneca Allegany Casino & Hotel. Last month, the company announced a marketing partnership with Visit Buffalo Niagara, the leading tourism agency in Erie County, through which Seneca Gaming Corporation is committing resources valued at more than $3 million to promote its casino properties collaboratively with other area attractions. The plan includes a series of print, digital, email, on-site, social media, tradeshow/event, television, direct marketing, mobile and web initiatives aimed at increasing awareness in target markets in the northeast United States and Canada. “There is a definite energy and excitement that is noticeable throughout the Western New York region,” Taube said. “Our casino properties can continue to be a strong tourism driver in helping attract visitors to the region and giving them reasons to stay longer and return more frequently.” Since opening Seneca Niagara Casino in 2002, Seneca Gaming Corporation has grown into one of the largest private sector employers in Western New York, with 4,000 employees at its three locations. The company operates world-class facilities offering more than 6,400 slot machines, 140 table games, 1,000 hotel rooms, a championship golf course and other related amenities. Seneca Gaming Corporation was recently selected as one of Western New York’s “Healthiest Employers” and was chosen last year as one of the region’s “Most Admired Companies” by Buffalo Business First.
