IT’S never too soon to introduce children to music – the sooner the better,” enthused Barbara Organ, 82, of Rochedale, as she enjoyed morning tea with friends at Springwood State School while a 10-year-old violinist helped tune in the orchestra for a performance. Musical teacher Ann McClintock said the school’s musical morn-
ing teas had been a highlight event of Logan Seniors Week for the past four years. More than 80 seniors were at the school to enjoy and encourage the young musicians as part of another week of senior celebrations in August. Barbara Organ – an interesting name, we thought.
