Sensory Regulation

The vestibular system processes information received from movement of the head, body position and gravity. This influences our awareness of body position and movement in space, muscle tone and balance reactions and the maintenance of a stable visual field. It also helps to regulate the nervous system, by providing either alerting or calming movement input.

Suspended equipment should be used under adult supervision.
