ereni & Shentel, a homegrown hair accessories brand, collaborates with Make-A-Wish Malaysia, a self-supported non-governmental organization, by inviting their royal patron and well known fashionista YAM Tengku Zatashah binti Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah to design 7

limited edition headbands. The limited edition collection will be called SS x TZ. The headbands will be based on Sereni & Shentel’s best selling Blair headband in colours inspired by Tengku Zatashah’s personal batik collection and are named after seven Make-A-Wish Malaysia girls. The headband will be retailing at RM137 each and 50% will be donated to Make-A-Wish Malaysia.

Make-A-Wish Malaysia relies on fundraising events and donations to enable them to continue operations. At any given time in Malaysia, there are over 20,000 children seeking treatment for critical illnesses. Needless to say, these children’s wishes, hopes and dreams take a back seat, as all their focus and energy, as well as their families’, are channelled into battling the illness.

Make-A-Wish Malaysia allows the child and their family to put aside their challenges for a day by immersing themselves in the activities organised on Wish Day. Each wish sees families filled with hope, strength and joy, and empowered to once again take up the fight against the medical challenges they face.

It is these life changing wish experiences that Make-A-Wish Malaysia, and all the other Make-A-Wish affiliates around the world, seek to fulfil and will continue to do so with the support of dedicated volunteers and supporters.
