The Service Essentials Workshop

Capturing Experiences

Service Essentials is a workshop developed by Design Wales to raise awareness about the service design process. It is aimed at manufacturing and design companies who are first-time users of service design expertise and covers three key areas, these are; Capturing Experience, Customer Journey Mapping and Service Blueprinting.

Mapping Journeys

IDEATION

The Design Wales customer experience audit will assess the quality of your customer experience. In the workshop we will show you how to apply it to your own business and calculate the value of your process to customers. Customer Journey Mapping is a core service design activity that will highlight common themes within your service, identify opportunities and help you improve your customer experience.

Service Blueprinting

Service Blueprinting is a technique that sets out the front and back of your service operations as a visual map of your business. Design Wales will help you create a service blueprint for your business as it stands and support you in reviewing opportunities for impact and development.
