Innovation and quality are at the forefront of case management provision at StanleySmith
As a company we’re dedicated and passionate to provide best practice.
Over the last year we’re proud to have set up psychology led peer support sessions for our experienced case managers and individual mentoring for newer case managers. We have recently employed a Care Team Coordinator to ensure care teams are appropriately supported and trained. This enhances an already strong team that includes an RGN to over see medication administration.
Quality of case management provision for the client and their family underpins the way we lead StanleySmith Case Management. We value the high level of knowledge and experience our team of case managers have and collectively we are able to specialise in working with highly complex clients. We asked some of our case managers for their feedback on StanleySmith Case Management:
WHAT DO YOU FIND MOST CHALLENGING ABOUT WORKING WITH COMPLEX CASES?
‘Ensuring there are sufficient contingencies in place and risk assessments to try and cover all possible eventualities. Sometimes when managing crisis along with other case loads, it can be a challenge to remain balanced’.

‘Managing complex personalities within teams whilst following employment law can be tricky when you know that you have done everything to support an employee’.
‘Ensuring my own CM hours remain within budget whilst vigilantly meeting the duty of care’.
WHAT SUPPORT DO YOU RECEIVE FROM SSCM TO ENABLE YOU TO BE EFFECTIVE AND HAPPY IN YOUR ROLE?
‘Excellent support from directors, peer group support and clinical supervision from a clinical psychologist. We all work really well together so we call or contact other case managers who have specialist interests in particular areas. Also we can’t forget the fabulous support from the office. I would say that everyone who works for the company has just as an important role in ensuring that everything works smoothly but also we provide support to each other’.
‘Excellent mentor and office support, access to brain injury webinars. Supervision and appraisals. Peer support- planned and

WHAT INNOVATIVE CM IDEAS HAVE YOU IMPLEMENTED TO ASSIST YOUR CLIENTS?
