Exploring Together Sevi l l e Go l f and C o unt r y C l ub Greetings, Summer is in full swing, and we?re pretty excited about it. We are also very excited to bring back ClubLife Magazine to your home. This is built to provide you with information for the next 90 days at the Club, and will come to your home quarterly. Expect the next issue around October 1st. From what we?ve heard, reconnecting with Gar r et Kr isk e family and friends this summer is top on your list, and we can?t think of a better reason to roll out the red carpet with some fun and inspiring gatherings at the club. After all, we have a lot of catching up to do after the past year. On August 1st, we held another blood drive, and true to form, Sevillians came through again in helping our community, which is very short on blood supply., our next Blood Drive will be held on October 3rd. We will continue to support our community and you will see more purposeful programming at your club and within our great community. If you?re interested in becoming involved on a deeper level, our committees periodically Body Serif 12 seeks new members. Reach out to me for more information if you are interested in contributing at our upcoming October 3rd Drive. Foodies, rejoice! Over the past couple of months, Chef Joshua and his team have rolled out a few new offerings to delight even the most adventurous of eaters. Multiple times every month, The entire F&B team will have wine tastings, Wine Dinners, and other fun experiences related to Food & Beverage. Our Crush It! Junior golf programing is under way and led by Director of Player development, Mike Johnston and Youth Player Development professional, Nathan Boone. Be sure to attend our next CrushIt introductory seminar in July to learn how your kids can get involved in the Crush IT Program, and join other kids learning and excelling at both golf, and character building skills. Christmas in Summer? You bet! Consider this your reminder to plan now, and party later. Members looking to host or reschedule parties of holidays?past, we?re here for you. Prime dates (Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in December are booking fast, so don?t delay. Call Mary Hotaling at 480-279-3012 to get started and lock in your date. As you peruse this issue of ClubLife, we hope you?ll find a few nuggets of inspiration to go out and find all the ways to enjoy Our Club this summer! Our team has worked extremely hard shaping thoughtful and engaging programs for you and yours to enjoy all season long.

Work from here!

See you at the Club, Garret Kriske

Fresh Options for Summer Cauliflower Tacos with Cilantro Lime Crema From Chef Joshua Dul Ingredients

If nothing else, 2020 demanded more creativity and fluidity from our culinarians than ever before. Adapting kitchen Body Serif 12almost overnight with far operations fewer resources and provisions made it all the more challenging. Through it all, we picked up quite a few nuggets worth sharing, as well as some new and noteworthy trends for 2021. Here's a quick look at what's happening in Chef's world these days. MONTHLY WINE DINNERS FAMILY FUN NIGHT SUNDAY BRUNCH EVENT CATERING

Sincerely,

J o shua D ul

-

1 Head Cauliflower 2 Tbsp Olive OIl 2 Tbsp Taco Seasoning Lime Juice, from half a lime ½ Cup Raw Cashews, soaked in hot water for 30 minutes ? Cup Water ¼ Cup Fresh Cilantro Lime Juice, from one full lime Tortillas Your Favourite Toppings

Directions 1. Preheat oven to 425F and line a baking tray with parchment paper. 2. Chop cauliflower into small to medium-sized florets. Don?t cut them big, as it will be harder to fill your tacos. 3. Add cauliflower florets into a large bowl along with your olive oil, taco seasoning, and lime juice. Mix until each floret is coated. Transfer cauliflower onto baking tray and spread out evenly. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping half way. 4. While cauliflower is baking, make the cilantro lime crema by adding your soaked cashews, water, cilantro, and lime juice to a blender. Blend until completely smooth. If you find it?s too thick, you can mix in 1 tbsp of water at a time until you reach your desired consistency. 5. Once cauliflower is done baking, remove from oven and assemble tacos on some tortillas. At this point, feel free to use whatever extra toppings you enjoy. Try mashed avocados, red onions, jalapenos, black beans, and of course the roasted cauliflower. Drizzle as much crema as you wish, and enjoy!

Val Liberty Val and her Husband, Mike arrived in Arizona 5 years ago from Silicon Valley, California. On their quest for a home away from home, she quotes ?I knew I found what I was looking for on my tour through Seville. A club with all the amenities; from the athletic club amenities, the family community, The Grove Restaurant, and all the fun Member activities, including a Body Serif 12that didn?t take a 2:00 p.m. nap in community the afternoon. I love that I can ride my bike from the pool to the courts and home. The staff are terrific, our amazing trainers & instructors keep me motivated to stay as healthy as possible. As a Recreation Director for 45 years, I realize that no one place is perfect but if you have a positive attitude, it sure helps.Through the many activities and classes I have made many great friendships, my daughter, her husband & baby live here, and I look forward to participating in the wide variety of upcoming events. I thank the Staff of Seville for their hard work to keep things running as smoothly as possible.? Val Liberty

M ike & Shonna Funk Mike, Shonna, Peyton, and Madden Funk have been active & awesome members at Seville since 2017. Mike is the current board chair on the Board of Governors and tries to get out on the golf course as much as his schedule permits. Shonna has been a member on the membership committee for the last year and loves helping make an impact with our members, they have also Sponsored the most members in the past two years. You can usually find Shonna with the kids somewhere fun at the Club! At the gym trying new classes, the pools chillin watching the kiddos go down the slides, at most of our fun Events, especially our concerts or enjoying other members company in The Grove. When the Funk family isn?t up at the club, you can find them busy running their two kids around town and attending their sporting events, all while staying preoccupied building a home and opening a new golf shop right up the street called Caddie Shack. Peyton is usually killing it on the Soccer field or now the Volley Ball Court

~Thank you Val, we just love having you apart of our Seville Family!

~We just love seeing your family around the Club, enjoying all Seville has to offer!

Stephanie Beach Membership Stephanie is celebrating her 10th Anniversary on Team Seville. Her hard work and tenacity over the years of transition has been remarkable. We thank you for continuing to bring new members to our Seville Family and always smiling! After all the years at Seville, the best part of her day is to see current members and help new neighbors join the club. Be sure to stop by The Membership Office to see her smiling face and say Hi!
