NEW RED FOX FINE ART SPECIAL EXHIBIT Red Fox Fine Art, a leading gallery of 19th and 20th century sporting paintings and sculpture based in Middleburg, Virginia, presents a special exhibit of American and British sporting art dating from 1750–1950. NEW LIVE ACTION AUCTION WITH YETI® 2 pm, Saturday, February 16 – Auction to follow

Join wildlife artists Ryan Kirby and Chad Poppleton as they each paint a wildlife scene on YETI® Tundra coolers. Upon completion, the coolers will be auctioned off and a portion of the proceeds will benefit SEWE and the conservation group of the artists’ choice. Don’t miss this unique live demonstration. The Gaillard Center

The Charleston Gaillard Center’s superior performance hall and event space will house SEWE’s live performances and outstanding local, regional and national artisans and craftsmen.

LIVE PERFORMANCES JEFF CORWIN: LIVE ANIMAL SHOWS As a television personality, nature conservationist and author, Jeff Corwin will entertain and delight SEWE attendees with live presentations on Friday and Saturday. Best known as host and executive producer of Ocean Mysteries on ABC, Jeff is recognized as a global leader in exploration and conservation. Seating is first-come, firstserved. BUSCH WILDLIFE SANCTUARY Busch Wildlife Sanctuary will explore the wonders of natural ecosystems. From bobcats, foxes and birds of prey to alligators and snakes, SEWE attendees will get an up-close look at the animals that call these places home. Seating is first-come, firstserved. THE SEWE MARKETPLACE AT THE GAILLARD CENTER ARTISANS, CRAFTSMEN & SOUTHERN TASTEMAKERS The SEWE Marketplace at the Gaillard Center will feature a varied mix of creations by outstanding local, regional and national exhibitors including handcrafted furniture, woodwork, leather goods, jewelry, knife makers and more unique finds.

SHEEP AND DUCK HERDING DEMONSTRATIONS Join Windy Knolls Farm owner and master trainer, Bill Coburn, as he showcases the fascinating world of the Border Collie breed’s herding instinct. Watch his collies artfully muster sheep and ducks through various obstacles with only a whistle and a few commands. See schedule for times.

NEW SEARCH AND RESCUE DOG DEMONSTRATIONS New this year, watch the team from Search Tactics and Rescue Recovery (S.T.A.R.R.) demonstrate efficient and organized search and rescue skills. These specially trained K-9’s will display training and small-scale demonstrations similar to their urban and rural search and recovery missions in the Carolinas and surrounding states. Copley Fine Art Auctions, the nation’s premier decoy and sporting art auction house, will make their annual sojourn to SEWE with its 2019 Winter Sale. The sale will offer the opportunity to see and take home world-class paintings and fine bird carvings. The auction will be held at the Charleston Marriott, located near Brittlebank Park. THE ART OF THE DECOY The Palmetto State Decoy Collectors Association and SEWE present the fourth annual antique decoy exhibit, The Art of the Decoy, an exhibit of classic American decoys. Featuring iconic examples from South Carolina, North Carolina, New Jersey, Virginia and Maryland, provided by members of PSDCA.

JUNIOR DUCK STAMP ART CONTEST Sponsored by South Carolina Ducks Unlimited

Once again, SEWE has partnered with SCDNR and the US Fish & Wildlife Service for the SC Junior Duck Stamp Contest. Combining science and art, this program teaches K-12 students about waterfowl and wetlands conservation. In the early decades of this colony, the South Carolina legislature offered a bounty to encourage the hunting of “beasts of prey” that threatened the lives of settlers and slaves. Map Your Day SEWE has three continuous loops for ticket and badge holders and two VIP express shuttles for badge holders only. Shuttles are for your convenience but please note bus times can be unpredictable due to traffic. Many venues are walkable (see map). SEWE shuttles operate from 9:45 am through 30 minutes after close of show Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

SEWE shuttle is provided at no additional cost for SEWE ticket and badge holders during show hours.

We highly recommend using the free SEWE shuttle service. Ticket or badge required. Handicap accessible transportation is available; please request the Durham Bus Service representative for assistance.

Additional parking near Brittlebank will be available on February 16 & February 17 for a flat rate of $5. Follow signage on Lockwood Blvd. to the lot behind the police station on Fishburne Street.

No parking allowed in the grassy areas in front of Brittlebank. Parking Reminder: There will be limited to no parking at Brittlebank on Friday, February 15.
