Sewickley Academy
OUR GRADUATES ARE GOING PLACES
Welcome
Founded in 1838, Sewickley Academy is Pittsburgh’s oldest co-ed, Pre-K through Grade 12 college preparatory school with a rich history, strong traditions, and an even bolder future. Here, the path to success begins with helping students to develop a love of learning, a global perspective, and respect for themselves and others. It involves explorative, experiential learning, rigorous academics, and a deeper understanding of individual strengths, challenges, and potential. At first glance, our 16-acre campus with its tall trees, red brick buildings, and white columns makes quite an impression. But it is the community of students, families, faculty, and staff that makes Sewickley Academy a dynamic place to learn and grow. As a community of educators, we foster caring relationships that provide a foundation upon which students are guided and empowered to reflect on and strengthen their skills for learning, leading, decision-making, and personal growth.
