Farewell Reception for Library Director
Carolyn Toth Retires After 25 Years
In her years as the Executive Director of the Sewickley Public Library, Carolyn Toth achieved many major milestones –growing our library into the valued organization we know and love today.
In 1998, when Carolyn assumed her leadership role, she worked together with the Library Board, appointed committees, and countless community members to raise funds and bring the new addition to fruition. She also led the initiative to connect the library with the eiNetwork, expanding borrowing and lending
and elevated the library into the awardwinning level of service it provides today. Carolyn reflects that the teamwork from library leaders, staff, support groups and the community was a major part of her successful tenure.
Please join us for a reception honoring Carolyn for her many years of library leadership on Thursday, April 27. Stop by the Colbert Room of the library anytime between 4:00 - 6:00pm to enjoy light refreshments and bid Carolyn a fond farewell. In lieu of gifts, Carolyn requests donations be made to the library’s endowment fund to benefit the library and the staff in perpetuity.
