WELCOME A chairde (Friends), Cead míle fáilte (A Hundred Thousand Welcomes) to Glimmers of Green Auction - our signature fundraising event! Tonight we bring together the entire St. Francis High School community, raise our glasses, and raise our paddles to Ensure Our Future! All the funds raised tonight directly support our mission as a Catholic, college preparatory learning community that promotes spiritual, academic, physical, and social development in the daily presence of Jesus Christ. Specifically, funds are used to sustain and advance three core areas: academics, co-curricular activities, and tuition assistance. No Irish gathering (or St. Francis High School auction) is complete without good music, good food, and good friends. Tonight’s auction would not be possible without the effort of countless volunteers led by auction chairs Jeanette Curtis, Barb Goetzke, and Alicia Haley working with Debbie Quirk, Director of Special Events, and the support of the entire Advancement Office. Thanks to their creativity, dedication, and passion, we are in store for a great evening together. We also extend a heartfelt thank you to all our donors—parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends—for giving of your time, talent, and those glimmers of green! Go raibh maith agat (Thank you) “Slainte!” (To your health!)
