architectural visualizations visualization/representation/ animation/3D model

WORK GUIDE_IMAGE _GENERAL INFORMATION In order to make the process as simple as possible we will need some information before starting. We know that is not always possible, but if we could get most of the elements listed below, that would be of great help. •Time -Project deadline. -One week is required for up to 3 images if you provide a 3d model, two weeks if we have to model. (Ideally) •Renderings -Number of images. -Type of images (exterior-eye level, aerial, interior) -Size of images and/or ratio. -Atmosphere (night / dusk / daybreak /thick fog) -Possible points of views (Draft sketches). •Files Preferably a good pdf document, such as the example below. -Site location / Google coordinates. -Summary of project program / functions. -Material descriptions or references. -Landscape description. •Technical files (PLANS) -Technical drawings must be in dwg and to avoid problems of compatibility will be saved in the 2007 version (masterplan / floor plans/ sections/ elevations). We are architects as what we do not have big problems to understand the plans so we will avoid unnecessary questions.

_TYPES OF FILES

•Payment The payments are done by means of bank transfer to an account that will facilitate them in the invoice and must be realized not later of 15 days of the delivery of the images.

2D

•Other considerations As general idea, the images are better with major freedom at the moment of working. We are new in this work for what we are grateful for any suggestion or good idea.

3D

We work especially with 3dmax and Vray. We do not have problems in models done in Rhino / Max / Autocad. *Models done in other soware need to be converted to les we canimport.

We use AutoCAD DWG files (saved in version 2007 to avoid compatibility issues). JPG or PDF files Illustrator are not suitable for modeling, but they are good reference.

WORK GUIDE_IMAGE _3D MODEL (YOU DO) If you deliver us the 3d model follows the following advices: - Please try to make sense of the names of the different layers so that you can understand. - Ideally organize layers as elements: Slabs / columns / walls / partitions / stairs / furniture ... - Avoid Sketchup: May not be used inappropriately modeled Sketchup files. Each element must be an independent group to texture the model correctly and should avoid duplicating faces and lines.

Common issues in models: - Frozen layers - It is better to clean the les and keep only the elements we will use. - Objects duplicates in the same position. - Non welded points. - Glass with no or abnormal thickness. - People/cars/trees - We won’t use them and they just will make the files heavier. Layer Frame Layer Column

Layer Furniture Layer Wall

Layer Partition Layer polycarbonate

Layer Glass

Layer Stair

Layer Door Layer Slab _3D MODEL (WE DO) We will need all available documents in CAD, preferably: site plan, floor plans, sections, elevations. - Indications of the functions and materials - Some quick sketches of the project and the views.

* In case of existing walls of different materials will divide into different layers as in the example graph.
