The Vietnamese Student Association tackles social barriers that may hinder them from displaying their culture and heritage with pride. At the same time, they show appreciation of the "American" in Vietnamese "American" in order to: create and stimulate awareness of the transforming Vietnamese-American cultural identity, educate and empower the community, and aid in community service alongside the other afďŹ liates of the Asian American Student Union.
