Vlad Roman Arno Jay Luthra and Vlad Roman Arno are both long term residents of Singapore. The lack of affordable speciality wines in the Lion City inspired them to bring boutique wines from different countries, directly from wine farms to the wine amateurs in Singapore. Thus, in 2019, they decided to start Red and White Pte Ltd. South Africa was the first choice as their source of boutique wines because of its 400 year old history of wine production, and unique geographical and climate diversity which allows the growth of almost every kind of grape known in the world of wine making. Today, Red and White Pte Ltd offers more than 160 wine names, produced from more than 20 types of grapes, from more than 30 different farms in known South African winelands.
