The Budget of the SGLC For the 2015-2016 Term Whereas,

for the timely and effective execution of the mission and duties of the Student Government of Loyola Chicago, hereafter referred to as the SGLC, some specified amount of funds shall be provided to the SGLC by the Division of Student Development each term, and

Whereas,

the sum of awarded funds shall, in accordance with the Financial Code of the Articles of Governance, be appropriated across three separate funds, each with distinct purpose: The General Fund, The Scholarship Fund, and The Student Activity Fund,

Therefore,

be it resolved that the Budget of the SGLC for the 2015-2016 term shall be established as follows, pending final approval by the Division of Student Development:

THE GENERAL FUND The SGLC respectfully requests that the Division of Student Development allocate a sum of $24,300 for uses pertaining to the general operation and maintenance of the SGLC. THE SCHOLARSHIP FUND The SGLC respectfully requests that the Division of Student Development allocate a sum of $21,200 for SGLC member scholarships.

THE STUDENT ACTIVITY FUND The SGLC respectfully requests that the Division of Student Development allocate a sum of $490,000 for Registered Student Organization funding throughout the 2015-2016 term, to be distributed at the discretion of the Allocations Committee.
