Raster File

A raster file is a type of image where the picture is made up of a grid of pixels where each pixel represents an individual colour within the image. So when zoomed, is made up of squares, a way of compressing the image information, but still looking clear when presented in the correct picture ratio. This differs from the Vector file format because‌ I think Raster files are good for everyday use but I think for professionals, the Vector file format is better because‌
