DEAR 2020 GRADUATES As you embark on life’s next steps, we invite you to pause and consider your spiritual growth thus far and make a commitment to continue your journey. Beginning with your freshman retreat, you learned what it means to be part of the Lancer Family through a weekend of dancing, games, and sleeping at the school. As sophomores, you learned what it means to be a person for others through cooking, delivering, and serving a hot meal to our neighbors in need. As juniors, you stepped out of your comfort zones and directly served our community through ISLE. You attended SEARCH and learned that you are not alone. You reflected on your relationship with yourself, your family, your friends, and your relationship with God. Lastly, this past January you gathered for a day of reflection, to think about the past, present and future. Throughout your time of retreats and service, you’ve also experienced an outpouring of grace through the Sacraments and Adoration. We hope and pray that these communities and the memories you made at Kennedy Catholic remain the bedrock of your journey toward holiness and serving others. We offer you this prayer for courage. May you continue to find family wherever you are. May you continue to step out of your comfort zones to serve the marginalized and vulnerable. May you continue to build community through the Church and Sacraments. May you continue to love yourself, love deeply, and never stop searching. Prayer for the Courage to be Great Heavenly Father, Give me the courage to strive for the highest goals, to flee every temptation to be mediocre. Enable me to aspire to greatness, as Pier Giorgio did, and to open my heart with joy to Your call to holiness. Free me from the fear of failure. I want to be, Lord, firmly and forever united to You. Grant me the graces I ask You through Pier Giorgio’s intercession, by the merits of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen. God Bless! Campus Ministry Ms. Farrell, Ms. Lopez, Fr.
