Be Academic The academic program at Kennedy Catholic reflects our belief that all students can achieve academic excellence. Our dedicated and passionate teaching faculty foster rigorous, collaborative learning environments where students develop critical thinking skills, take risks, and find success. At each grade and educational level, students are challenged academically and personally, developing the skills they need to grow in understanding and proficiency across all disciplines. Our academic program is designed to teach students the knowledge, judgement, and insight that will best prepare them for their future. We strive to graduate students as individuals dedicated to something beyond the basics. They’re not content just dreaming about what they’ll be, they’re focused on their future. They’ve learned not just to find the answers but to ask the questions. They seek out opportunities to find out why they believe what they believe and they discover that life is about non-stop learning across a broad, global range of disciplines. We offer a diverse curriculum that meets the needs of students at all levels of learning including University Partnership courses through the Aquinas Honors Program, Blessed Mother Teresa for students with learning differences, and English as a Foreign Language (EFL) for international students. Students have access to a wide range of support services including after-school supervised study. Teachers and staff participate in ongoing career and professional growth opportunities while teacher mentors provide continuing, meaningful feedback and peer-to-peer collaboration. We believe technology is a powerful tool for enhancing student education. Technology should serve as an aide and never a hindrance and should support varied learning styles. Our technology department provides impeccable support and customer service to all students, faculty, and staff while at the same time researching the latest tools and trends. Kennedy Catholic is fully accredited by the Washington State Department of Education and the Western Catholic Education Association. 4
Be Spiritual Rooted in the Catholic tradition and empowered by the Holy Spirit, the Campus Ministry team at Kennedy Catholic invites the entire community into an ever-growing relationship with their faith. We commit to this relationship through prayer, community, formation, and service. We seek to be a family that is continually formed and transformed through God’s love. As an Archdiocesan school, the faith formation of our students and community is our priority and the mission of the Church and its accessibility is the foundation of our operations and decision making. Through the celebration of the sacraments, leadership retreats, service projects, and liturgy, Kennedy Catholic students are growing daily in their spiritual formation. Faith at Kennedy Catholic is proposed, not imposed. It is our goal that our Catholic traditions will foster moral, ethical, and honest young men and women and will instill in our students the responsibility of moral leadership by challenging them to think and to act beyond themselves.
Be Limitless
A diverse student population enriches the educational experience for all of our students and families. For 30 years, our International Program has been delivering on the promise to broaden the opportunity for cultural exchange while ensuring Kennedy Catholic continues its mission to graduate leaders following Christ in a school community that is accessible, diverse, and committed to pursuing the fullest potential of every student. Kennedy Catholic has long been known for embracing diversity. The program is home to students from eight different countries – each student adding their gifts and talents to the cultural fabric of our community. Some choose to reside in our campus dormitory and some prefer to live with host families, but either way, all are part of the Lancer Family. 5

Be A Champion Kennedy Catholic has a long and storied history as one of the premier athletic programs in the state. Being a Lancer athlete means being part of a team, meeting new people, pushing yourself to your limit and accomplishing great things. Our student-athletes are individuals first, students second, and only then, athletes. Excellence in high school athletics is first determined by academic success in the classroom, as well as the development of character, discipline and leadership by example. Student-athletes are supported by the dedication of committed, award-winning athletic coaches and trainers who strive to develop the discipline in each student to help them reach a personal level of excellence. Kennedy Catholic athletes regularly go on to compete at the collegiate level and later return as supportive alumni who celebrate our rich tradition of Lancer spirit and pride.

Human Relations, Math Team, DECA, Business Club Officer, Math Tutor My dream was to receive the best high school education possible. Being an international student, I was intimidated by the fact that I would be studying in a different language in a country far from home and family. The Lancer community not only welcomed me, they treated me like their own. Kennedy Catholic is a place for students to grow and acheive their dreams.
