At the 39ª Buenos Aires International Book Fair 2013, on Friday May 10th F u n d a c i ó n S h a k e s p e a re A rg e n t i n a presented the event Shakespeare among all with a panel of distinguished speakers: the Argentinian Director Rubén Szuchmacher (Henry IV Part 2) talked about his experience at the Globe to Globe Festival in London. Dr. Miguel Ángel Montezanti from Universidad Nacional de La Plata UNLP and Dr. Sheila Cavanagh from Emory University, CoDirector of the World Shakespeare Project.

I n d e e d , D r. S h e i l a Cavanagh (co-Director of the World Shakespeare Project encourages us to share virtual classes with students from different

universities around the world from distant points of the planet and different languages and cultures and countries such as The United States, India, Morocco and Argentina, being Shakespeare the connection in between. The presence of Director Rubén Szuchmacher who shared his experience of having participated in the Globe to Globe Festival at Shakespeare's Globe in

London along with other 36 theatre companies from around the world, is sufficient proof of today's Shakespeare as a clear example of universality bringing diverse people and cultures together. For his part, Dr. Montezanti Professor of the Universidad de la Plata, presented the publication of his own translation of Shakespeare`s poem The Rape of Lucrece.

FSA presented Dr. Cavanagh, Director of the World Shakespeare Project La FSA presented in Argentina Dr. Sheila Cavanagh from Emory University (USA) Dr. Cavanagh is CoDirector of the World Shakespeare Project (WSP). Fundación Shakespeare Argentina made it possible for the international collaborative project World Shakespeare Project co-directed by Dr. Sheila Cavanagh has been implemented in different Argentine universities. With the help of new technologies, the World Shakespeare Project connects students from different parts of the world through the works of William Shakespeare. This is possible because of the universal character of his works, but at the same time, students of each region or community respond and interact with them in a particular way, according to their own beliefs, environments and traditions. Undoubtedly it is a unique and enriching experience for the participants to share their views and local resonances through Shakespeare.

World Shakespeare Project in Argentina FSA makes it possible for the World Shakespeare Project to be implemented in various universities in Argentina FSA has made it possible to implement the I n t e r n a t i o n a l Wo r l d Shakespeare Project in our country. This innovative educational project was put into practice in the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of El Salvador (USAL) of the city of Buenos Aires, at the National University of La Plata (UNLP) and also at

Rubén Szuchmacher shared his experience in the mythical Shakespeare's Globe in London

In 2012, an unprecedented cultural event arose, an Argentinian production was invited to take part at the Globe to Globe Festival at the mythical Shakespeare's Globe Theatre in London The renowned Argentine director Rubén Szuchmacher spoke about this wonderful experience

of staging a brand new version of Shakespeare's Henry IV Part 2 at the Shakespeare's Globe Theatre which consisted of 37 Shakespeare Plays in 37 different languages. The Argentine version was a production of the El Kafka Espacio Teatral and the cast included the great actor Horacio Peña in the role of Falstaff. Szuchmacher expressed

the warm and vivid impressions such as -his participation both as director and actor in these performances, the public standing in the rain and almost completely surrounding the scene– audience's respectful careful listening, and many other insights, captivated all of us gathered up at the Victoria Ocampo room. Ultimately, the director

referred to the impact on the critics of his production: it was clear for the British critics that it was an Argentinian particular point of view on a highlight historical fact in the English history. The audience was delighted and grateful to the Stage & Artistic Director who also showed a deep admiration for the work of William Shakespeare.
