Silent Auction Procedures Please read the silent auction descriptions carefully, noting any restrictions. The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey will not be responsible for auction items not redeemed within the time specified by the donor or within a year. Item descriptions are followed by a value. In the case of particularly unique items, the value is listed as priceless. Please note that only the amount paid over the value is tax-deductible to the fullest extent provided by law. • • •

PLACING A BID:

To place a bid, write your name and bid amount on the corresponding bid sheet directly in front of the item. You may bid on as many items as you wish, as often as you’d like. Subsequent bids should be placed on the next available line and must raise the bidding by at least the minimum increment for that item as listed on the bid sheet.

Once a bid is entered, it may not be removed.

CLOSE OF BIDDING:

The last call for bidding will be at 8:45 PM. At 9:00 PM, the silent auction will be closed and bid sheets will be collected.

PAYMENT:

Throughout the evening’s performance, a volunteer will notify you of your winnings. You will have the opportunity to pay for and collect your winnings in the Green Room after the performance in the ballroom. Cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover are accepted forms of payment. There are no refunds. Payment must be made the evening of the Gala • • •

The Drew Forum has been the region’s leading venue for public lectures since 1994. World leaders, history makers, opinion shapers, and scholars from a variety of fields have all appeared on the Drew stage. The Drew Forum is presented through the generosity of the Blanche and Irving Laurie Foundation. The Thomas H. Kean Visiting Lecturer appears through an endowment created in honor of the former Governor and Drew President with whom it shares its name. You will receive two subscriptions to the 2015–2016 Drew Forum Lecture Series. You are also invited to attend an invitation-only VIP reception prior to the lecture of your choice and you will enjoy VIP seating. Tickets must be reserved in advance through the Shakespeare Theatre’s Box Office. Speakers for the 2015–2016 Lecture series will be announced in the fall. The many facets of Puccini’s eternal diva are explored by a quartet of charismatic sopranos: Oksana Dyka, Angela Gheorghiu, Maria Guleghina, and Lyudmila Monastyrska. They star opposite three champions of the Italian verismo style– tenors Massimo Giordano, Marcello Giordani, and Roberto Aronica– who share the role of Tosca’s lover, the artist and revolutionary Cavaradossi. New York’s Theatre for a New Audience is focused on developing and revitalizing the performance and study of Shakespeare and classic drama. Two Gentlemen of Verona will be performed in the exciting new Polonsky Shakespeare Center in downtown Brooklyn. 203 Sleep No More

The British theater company, Punchdrunk, presents Sleep No More, its site-specific Hitchcock-Shakespeare mash-up, at the former McKittrick Hotel building in Chelsea. This legendary space is home to this provocative and unusual experience inspired by Shakespeare’s classic Scottish tragedy. Audiences may move freely through a surreal world at their own pace, choosing their own path through history, immersed in a truly unique theatrical experience. This package includes four VIP tickets to a performance of Sleep No More Sunday through Wednesday nights, through July 25, 2015. Reservations include front of the line access, complimentary coat/bag check, and a reserved table in the Manderley Bar with a bottle of bubbly libations to enjoy throughout the evening. Our Shakespeare Academy offers youth and adult classes in a wide range of disciplines connected with classic theatre, including scene study, the Shakespeare Book Club, mask making, and stage make-up! Party and Performance for Ten

Enjoy a magical evening with your friends at our production of The Royal Family. Loosely based on the famous Barrymore dynasty, this Tony Award-winning American classic invites you into the Cavendish home to witness both the high drama and hilarious comedy that infuses their daily life. Three generations take center stage in this lavish, outrageously funny, and touching portrayal of their struggle to balance the demands of family life with the compelling bonds of their artistic calling.
