New Sermon Series’
Rev. John will be leading a new series called “This is How we Do it”. As we journey through the Book of 1 John, it is our prayer that we all find ways of practicing great spiritual habits in all phases of our lives. This Series is our journey both individually and collectively as Christ’s Body of belivers. May God’s hand of guidance be upon us as we hear the message of His word and live out the expectations of our faith with excellent spirits.
Rev. Alan will be leading a new series called “Revive us Again”. Our prayer in the wake of Resurrection of Jesus is that God’s Spirit will Revive Us Again. There are 50 days from the resurrection of Jesus and the outpouring of God’s Spirit at Pentecost on May 19th. In the weeks leading up to that event, we will explore God’s Word to understand how God’s Spirit works in our lives. Please join as we share each Sunday the wonder of the gift of God’s Holy Spirit that is always with us.

Joyful Place
Friends and volunteers had a JOYFUL time stuffing eggs for EASTER FEST. We love filling our days with meaningful activities, especially those that bring JOY to children. We completed 900 eggs in under 1 hour. Many hands make light work.
Be Joyful Always, Leigh
Military Reboot Recovery Class
Reboot Recovery for Military began on Wednesday, April 3 in Cross Corner Fellowship Hall. Since 2011, this 12 week confidential, faith-based, peer-led class has helped veterans, active duty, and their family members achieve breakthroughs in their battle against service related trauma. We’ve helped over 20,000 find purpose in the pain. Now it’s your turn. There is no cost. We meet from 5:30 to 7:30 PM, and includes dinner. Childcare is available. Sign up online at rebootrecovery.com (Shalimar course) or email Deb Hutto at aveclite@gmail.com.
Door Codes are Changing.
In the near future, we will be changing the combination lock code for those locks around the campus. The Bread House and Joyful Place lock will not be changed. If you have a need for the lock combination, please contact the office at 850-651-0721 and request the new code. Thank you and we will try to minimize the inconvenience.
Holy Week 2024- Thank You
Thank you to everyone who made this years Holy Week a powerful one. First, we want to thank the group of 20 kids and adults for starting the week off with Palm Procession in each service on
Palm Sunday. Your commitment and role was a representation of Jesus as he had a palm procession upon entering Jerusalem on a donkey. We also want to thank those who helped with our Maundy Thursday Service. Whether you were on the Worship Team, a Scripture Reader, served with Audio/ Visual Lighting team, or even participated in foot-washing, we thank you. Finally, we want to mention our Good Friday Service. Thank you to everyone who had an impact on that powerful service. From the AVL booth with certain cues to the drama cast speaking powerful words of scripture, and to those who extinguished candles that made the meaning of Tenebrae Service come true by making it darker each time one went out. Thank you for committing your Friday night in making this service memorable.
